1 Position Description: Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Rutland, Vermont Click to Apply Now Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region is seeking a Child Psychiatrist to treat patients at our 6 primary care clinics located throughout Rutland County, Vermont. (Patient age range is 5 18.) Join a dynamic, collaborative team of Adult & Child Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselors who together provide a plan of care for our patients. This position will involve coordinating plan of care with primary care providers to include psychiatric consults, completing diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medical management services. Psychiatrists receive the support of RN Case Managers. Community Health Centers are Federally Qualified Health Centers and provide a network of Family Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Dentists and Social Workers. CHCRR provides short term and ongoing psychiatric services to any medical patient of the organization. Our behavioral health program is one of the major psychiatric services within Rutland County. CHCRR utilizes an integrated Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management system.

3 injuries. X-ray and laboratory services are available at some of our locations. Hospital care for CHCRR is provided by Rutland Regional Medical Center Hospital (RRMC). RRMC is a hospitalbased practice specializing exclusively in providing in-patient care at RRMC. Arrangements for admission to other hospitals can be arranged as needed. CHCRR Pediatrics provides hospital care for our pediatric patients. Locations We operate Primary Care Medical Offices in Rutland, Brandon, Castleton, Shoreham, and West Pawlet, VT. All of our offices are accepting new patients and we participate with most area insurance companies including Medicare and Medicaid and some insurances from neighboring New York State. In Winter people get outdoors to enjoy some of the best skiing in the east at nearby ski resorts: Killington, Pico, Okemo, Bromley, and Stratton. In summer, we relax with: Music in the park in our city bandstand, Friday Night Live where the downtown city street is closed to allow only pedestrian traffic and music and art are incorporated for a block party setting. Wild flower walks, Green Mountain hiking club, farmers markets, and Contra dances throughout the county. Entertainment We have live theater year round The Paramount has great presentations. There are several small live theaters nearby, including the Dorset Playhouse (summer stock) (winter schedule with local cast), and Weston Playhouse We have six local Art Galleries and ample opportunities to take part in hands-on art or craftsmanship through Fletcher Farm, The Carving Studio, Chaffee Art Gallery, and Southern Vermont Art Center to name a few.
