Please be thinking of running for an office this term. We need officers in order to keep our association going. If you feel you will be able to give your time and talents, please notify our Nominating Committee, Chairman Jeanie Anderson, Co-Chair Charlie Keathley, Barbara Levand, Thelma Washington, and Nancy Clemons. Thank you ladies for making up our committee. Or if you know of someone that would be interested in running for an office, please submit their names. We really appreciate each and every one of our members, and each one of us has something special to offer. Lets make this a good year. Convention is right around the corner, and we have some awesome speakers. So please make your reservations now. The association has been supplying its members with the CNE units for a long time. What a great way to obtain those credits, and get to network with other nurses all around the state. Lets show our students there is life after graduation, and give them insight on what a real nurse does. We need to get our thoughts together for Nurse Day at the Capital for February 18-19, We as LVNs need to get our concerns into action. We also need LVNs to go to Nurse Day. Please think about going. Remember we can do so much more in numbers than by ourselves! If you have any old medical equipment, please bring it to the convention, as I am going to do a display this year again. HELP NEEDED Bag Stuffers are needed for the Fall Convention. Donations may be brought to the hotel on Wednesday evening, October 10, 2018, examples: pens, pencils, coupons, etc. Door Prizes also are needed. It is suggested that each member bring 5 prizes that has a minimum value of $5.00 and do not include food items.

If you know of anyone who would like to run for an office, PLEASE have them contact myself or the nominating committee members to send them the application to run!!!! Reminders We need candidates for Nurse of the Year, Scholarship, Scrapbook, Yearbook, and Newsletter. Please get your applications turned in by the deadline which is October 1st. We need help with getting new and old members to join the Association. Please help the First Vice President in accomplishing this. We are needing the divisions and committees to start turning in their reports to be included in the newsletter. We need people to donate items for the Live Auction that will be held during the Convention.
