2 The Awards The Outstanding Care Awards Devon and Cornwall celebrate the very best people and businesses that go above and beyond to deliver out standing care to vulnerable people across the South West. Recognised by over 21 different awards, we are thrilled to highlight the hard work and dedication of the care sector from the Hospitals and Emergency Services to Care providers and front line care workers and even suppliers to the industry, this is a truly special and prestigious event. The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on June 8th, at the Livermead House Hotel in Torquay. The evening will be hosted by sports star and motivational speaker Debra Searle, known for successfully rowing the Atlantic alone. Present on the night will be all finalists and their guests along with sponsors, judges and leading figures from across the region. The judging panel consists of representatives from local councils, independent local people and organisations with the winners being chosen by those who sponsor the awards.
