2 DETAILS & ELIGIBILITY Dates: May 15 August 11, 2017 Stipend: All US-based interns are paid a monthly stipend of $250 Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week) Location: Internships will be based in Los Angeles (Monrovia, CA) Eligibility: All candidates must meet the following requirements: At least 18 years of age. Able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week. Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa). Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate program (within 2 years). Adhere to the Christian Statement of Faith required by all World Vision International employees. SUMMER 2017 INTERNSHIPS (Monrovia, CA) Digital Content Intern, Global Communications: Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Journalism, Media, Photography/Videography, Content Curation & Management. World Vision's Content Team is responsible for the storage of over 300,000 valuable digital assets. These assets are the photos,

3 videos and stories that fuel marketing, advocacy and communications across the global World Vision Partnership. Intern responsibilities will include: Curating content in order to refine the quality of content offered in our internal systems. Improving the Digital Asset Management system to better meet user needs. Applying industry best-practices to our library metadata and tagging practices. Assist with training staff on new technologies and digital content systems. Corporate Services Intern: Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality, Project Management, Organizational Development, Christian Ministry. The Global Real Estate, Corporate Services and Facilities (GRE/CSF) team supports initiatives for "building better communities for children" around the world. Our departments function is in the area of global real estate and administrative service support for offices located in Geneva, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle and Washington DC. Assist with the corporate services/global real estate database and applications for input/output of information, which at times may require engaging people across our global offices. Assist with and serve on planning committees to support the communication and coordination of weekly chapels, staff events and departmental meetings. Research ideas, concepts, and processes that contribute to developing a corporate service standards documents which outlines relevant policies, procedures and guidelines. Looking for someone with great interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, and creativity; enthusiasm and passion for serving others. Experience with or interest in AutoCAD is a bonus! Page 3/8

4 Global Real Estate Intern: Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Communications, Real Estate, Finance. The Global Real Estate, Corporate Services and Facilities (GRE/CSF) team supports initiatives for "building better communities for children" around the world. Our departments function is in the area of global real estate and administrative service support (Corporate Services/Facilities) for offices located in Manila, Kuala Lumpur, London, Geneva, Los Angeles, NYC, Seattle, and Washington DC. Assist with updating and maintaining the Global Real Estate (GRE) database and applications for input/output of relevant information (building location, sq. footage, occupancy, lease information, etc.). Communicating with staff across our global offices in order to share best practices and gather information for reporting purposes. Research processes, concepts and trends in the real estate industry while contributing to the development of global standards and best practices. Looking for someone with proficiency in working with database applications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good judgement and teamwork. AutoCAD preferred but not necessary. Communications Intern, Global Supply Chain Management: Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Creative Writing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Media/Design. The Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) team works with many departments and internal stakeholders which have very specific communication needs. The intern will report to GSCM's communications officer and work closely with the department's finance and administration manager in the creation of documents, training materials and presentations.

5 Work with the team to create communication materials for internal WV audiences that communicates the GSCM mission and vision and ProVision priorities. Help to organize and write stories and information for internal publication to the GSCM community of practice and internal stakeholders. Assist in updating intranet information pages. Help drive engagement of internal stakeholders to collaborative spaces. Conduct interviews with Supply Chain practitioners and write articles about Supply Chain trends at World Vision. Assist the Fleet Management Team with annual survey data collection and analysis, including communicating with National Office teams and staff. Global Supply Chain Management Intern: Eligible Candidates: Current college student, recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program. Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Finance. World Vision's GSCM team is dedicated to ensuring that World Visions programmes and responses around the world get the goods and services they need when needed, where needed and at the right price. The supply chain team manages thousands of suppliers, hundreds of purchasers and a complex logistics network. Implement new Contract Management System for Global Procurement within Coupa (Cloud-based procurement and supply chain software) Design numbering system for tracking and reviewing purposes. Create purchase order in collaboration with suppliers. Liaise with National and Regional Offices to receive contracts. Develop monitoring system for contracts and renewals. Page 5/8

6 Governance Intern: Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, International Development, Political Science, Public Administration/Policy, Spanish. The Governance Department is actively working with National Offices and their boards to support their oversight structures and decision making. Utilize writing and creativity to develop a variety of resources such as short e-learning courses, case studies and other templates and tools that will be used by board members world-wide for training and development. Intern will analyze existing resources to develop materials. Ability to create graphics and presentation visuals and learn new software programs is beneficial. Review and analysis of existing governance resources to contribute to a comprehensive online resource library and an archival version that will be available to boards and National Office staff worldwide. Assist with correspondence with National Office board contacts to research and collect board information, including member composition, meetings documents and evidence of performance. Develop of useful presentations and other resources for department. *Spanish language skills are desirable as many of the resources are created for the Latin American National Offices, however this is not mandatory. Technology for Global Development (ICT4D) Intern (DC or Los Angeles): Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate, graduate student/completed graduate program. Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Economics, International Development, Social Sciences, MPH, MPA, MBA or strong interest in mobile technologies in development. Expand and refine content for ICT4D toolkits and guidance documents. Support design and preparation for WV ICT4D Interest Group and Digital Health Steering Committee meetings as well as related internal website content/documents. Page 6/8

7 Undertake research on technology for education, health, agriculture, economic development globally. Create digital health ecosystem summaries for specific countries in Africa and Asia where WV works. Work with Director of ICT4D on strategic assessments, research and reports. Learning and Development Intern, Global Information & Technology: Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate, graduate student/completed graduate program. Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Organisational Development, Psychology, English, Creative/Business Writing, Spanish. The World Vision Global IT Culture, Learning and Communications Team is responsible for creating a unified culture, engaging employees, equipping managers with skills to lead change and develop their teams, and providing learning opportunities which create a culture of competence, domain expertise and thought leadership in the field of Global IT. Intern responsibilities include: Provide learning and development administration - programming courses, reporting and assisting in Virtual Instructor Led training & promotion. Assist in instructional design and development of e-learning modules. Assist in developing bi-monthly newsletters - edit articles, format for PDF, and web based format. Assist in cultural development program and planning to increase employee engagement. Global Information Security Intern: Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate or graduate student. Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: MBA, Finance, Business/Technology. Report on global operation risk: identify issues and provide a comprehensive understanding of the operational impact
