11 SBIR / STTR Eligibility Requirements Only US small businesses are eligible and must meet all of the following: For profit organizations Located in the United States No more than 500 employees At least 51 percent US owned VC backing: Either multiple or none Must meet eligibility criteria at the time of award! 11/34
