1 BROOME COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL UNITED CULTURAL FUND GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT 2018 APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 (This is a receipt deadline, NOT a postmark deadline) APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Type the narrative, single spaced, 12-point font minimum, 1 margins. Answer all questions in the order listed. Use the headings, subheading and numbers provided. Do not exceed the total of single-spaced typed pages noted. Place the name of your organization in the header Provide supplemental material to support your application. This can include brochures, photographs, discs, etc. Indicate the items which are to be returned. Do not submit original artwork. Submit ten (10) complete copies of your application and supplemental materials. Submit one (1) copy of most recent audited financial statement. All pages must be three-hole punched to fit a standard three ring binder. All supplemental materials must be three-hole punched or contained in sleeves that are three-hole punched. Do not permanently bind copies together, or place in individual binders. Copies may be clipped together and separated by colored paper or removable dividers. $100 application fee if not a current BCAC member, for whom fee is waived. Provide detailed information on the arts and cultural activities provided by your organization, constituents served (students, artists, others) and community needs addressed. B. Describe your current partnerships and collaborations (Briefly list specific efforts you have done in the past year to build relations within the arts community) D. Describe your current marketing efforts. E. What were last year s goals and how well have you met your goals. (Please document, quantify and give examples) 3. GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT REQUEST. A. Describe your plans for the current and upcoming years (highlighting new or expanded activities). B. Describe any recent significant changes or developments in the organization and its operations. C.
