1 2016 SAN MATEO COUNTY FAIR COMMERCIAL VENDOR & EXHIBITOR APPLICATION DATES OF FAIR DURATION: SATURDAY, JUNE 11 TH - SUNDAY, JUNE 19 TH Greetings Participants, We are excited to invite you to the 2016 San Mateo County Fair. This event takes place at the San Mateo Convention Center. The Fair is an annual event that brings families and communities together in the San Francisco Peninsula area and has done so for the past 80 years. Over 125,000 people attend the fair every year to eat, shop and enjoy the exhibits as well as the various carnival attractions. We have an estimate of vendors that come each year to showcase their products and create a positive shopping experience for fair goers. The vendors can participate for the whole fair duration June 11 th June 19 th or for the first time there is an option to exhibit during the event weekends only. The weekend dates our June 11 th and 12 th and June 17 th, 18 th and 19 th. There is an option to participate one weekend or both weekends. Information about the Commercial Vendor / Exhibitor space is detailed in the attached application. All applicants must submit an application with pictures of there display, brochure and category description. Acceptance to the Fair is at the discretion of the San Mateo Convention Center and Fair Programmers. There is review and jury process, submitting your application is not a guarantee for acceptance. We will notify you asap on your status. You will receive a confirmation letter upon receiving your completed application. Please carefully read all questions and fill out accordingly. Please include application, permit information, and or any related materials that need to be completed and returned. Please Do NOT send payment with your application. Applications will be reviewed considering the following guidelines: quality, demand, the uniqueness pf product or service, the appearance of the display, priority will be given to past participants and prior experience or written recommendations and current standing with the State of California and the County of San Mateo. Some spots may not be assigned until arrival on the grounds the day of check in. *Please provide and attach a photo of your booth and products to this application for optimal booth placement. Please note any additional requests or comments here: The deadline for submitting your application is June 1, Any applications received after June 1, 2016 will be put on the waiting list until space becomes available. You will be contacted based on the product mix of other vendors. Communication and flexibility becomes imperative for last minute applicants. If you are selected to participate you will be issued a contract. It is mutually important to understand that space is offered based on product of service, display, and needs of the Fair. I agree to and abide by any future rules and regulations in the Participant s Handbook and any future contract, should space become available.
