No participants to date. Per Unit Limit = $38,500 (yes- an increase) $24,999 hard rehabilitation costs $5,500 technical services & lead hazard reduction carrying costs lead hazard reduction & temporary relocation Can apply for 6 units. IEDA will consider request for additional funds & units if original units complete & time allows 1

2 » Reminder: The following are now required at the time of application: Procurement for grant administration & technical services should be completed by the time of application. Procurement documents to be submitted with application. Administrative plan must be submitted with application. Plan to be approved by the city prior to submittal.» More competitive applications will have: Blanket environmental review complete Homeowner applications approved with LMI benefit verified» If an application is incomplete it will NOT be reviewed.» Complete means all required documents are uploaded and include all necessary information.» IEDA will not give applicants an opportunity to fix applications or supplement information.» IEDA may request additional information for clarification; This type of request would not deem the application incomplete.» Sources = Expenditures» Public Hearing Requirements- 9 points must be covered and described in public hearing minutes» Make sure notice published within allowable window! If notice of an election, hearing, or other official action is required by the city code, the notice must be published at least once, not less than four nor more than twenty days before the date of the election, hearing, or other action Don t count the day of the publication! Scoring criteria» 7 scoring criteria» Criteria scored on a 1 to 5 scale. Maximum of 35 points» Combination of objective and subjective criteria» One change since last year. Refer to handout» Few revisions to some application questions Reminders» Updated Iowa Minimum Rehab/ HQS Standards will apply to funded projects (new in 2016)» Income verifications good for 12 months.
