1 Instructions for submission How we use your information The British Council will use the information that you provide for the purposes of processing your application, making any awards and monitoring and reviewing any award. We will share any necessary data on your application with our funding partners in your country in order to assist with management of the application process; any decisions on grants will be made in collaboration with them. Organisation details, where collected, are used for monitoring and evaluation and statistical purposes. Gender information, where collected, is used solely in preparing statistical reports. The British Council collects country of origin for reporting and statistical purposes and to contact you within your own country. Under UK Data Protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. Upload file Estimated budget (in GBP) Detailed explanation of itemised costs Example: personnel, transportation, communication, supplies amounting to total requested. As specifically as possible, include rationale of why the item is necessary and how the amount has been calculated. All costs in Pounds Sterling. The scheme will not fund items of equipment which institutions would normally be expected to possess (for example computing equipment including laptops). Nor will it fund conference or seminar attendance to disseminate findings. The British Council as well as the FAPs will not fund airfares in any class above Economy. For this part, please download the budget template available and upload it. IMPORTANT: 1. All proposals should include a completed total budget request spreadsheet. 2. In addition to the total budget request spreadsheet, proposals with match funding from a Brazilian State Funding Agency (FAP) MUST ALSO fill out the FAP funding request.
