9 34 sector-based initiatives In September 2013, the French government choose 34 sector-based initiatives to regain its place among the major industrial powers These initiatives are estimated to create 480,000 jobs in 10 years and generate 45.5 billion in value added CNES is the project manager of one of these initiatives: the electricpropulsion satellite

10 A roadmap led by CNES 2 mains actions : Adapt the geostationary satellites platforms of Airbus and Thales. Develop the high-power electric propulsion PPS 5000 of Snecma. A 54 million planned budget, 25 million of which will be financed by the government. This project should create 1500 jobs.
