9 DO YOU QUALIFY FOR A CapaCiTi PROGRAMME? Our minimum requirements to be eligible to apply for a CapaCiTi Programme are: y Be a South African Citizen y years old y Previously Disdvantaged y Matric Certificate CapaCiTi launches new programmes every 3 months, which may have different requirements, depending on the technical focus. For the upcoming Java Launch programme, the minimum qualification requirement is a matric certificate. Most importantly, to qualify for a CapaCiTi programme, you need to be motivated, passionate about Technology and ready to put in the hard work to use this programme to launch your digital career!

10 APPLY TODAY JAVA Launch DURATION LOCATION 3-month on-site training + 6-month internship CPT (Salt River) JHB (Milpark) REQUIREMENTS y South African Citizen y years old y Matric certificate or higher y Passionate about Technology & Problem Solving DESCRIPTION You ll learn the fundamentals of Java, one of the most in-demand and foundational programming language in SA and internationally. y Java fundamentals (Intro to Java/ Variables, Expressions and Statements/ Control/ Loops) y Java Data Structures and Error Handling (1D arrays, 2D arrays/ Types of errors/ Exception handling) y Java OOP and Advanced Programming (Classes and Objects/ Classes and Methods/ OOP principles/ Complex topics. What jobs this will prepare you for: y Junior software Developer, software tester, software analyst, software engineer

11 JAVA LAUNCH If you love solving problems? Are curious about how things work? Applications and growth of technology excites you? Then its time to learn to code and this programme could be your career accelerator. Programme costs: R (Technical, job-readiness training & coaching) R9 000 (Travel Allowance) You will NOT pay anything while you re on the programme and you will receive a travel allowance monthly. But, we will ask you to pay forward your programme cost, once you are employed, after we ve helped you find a job.

12 PAY IT FORWARD! During your training with CapaCiTi, you will not pay anything. You will only pay it forward once you ve got a job. Once you are settled in your first job, we do require you to pay back your training costs in affordable installments every month. Note you only pay back your training loan, when you are employed full-time! Your pay-back goes straight towards another young South African s training, so you will be contributing towards changing someone else future. SALARY BRACKET *LOAN REPAYMENT R1 R10, % per month R10,001 R15,000 10% per month R15, % per month (*This debt attracts interest at prime less 50%.) In the later stages of the application process, we will do a credit check and work with you to ensure you are able to comfortably commit to the programme pay it forward model. The faster that you progress in your career, the faster you ll pay back the loan. Therefore, if you earn R12,000 per month, you will repay R1,200 every month. If you earn R15,000, you will pay back R1500 every month.

15 WHAT DO YOU GET ON COMPLETION? You will receive a Certificate of Completion from CapaCiTi at graduation. You may also receive a qualification certificate, depending on the programme you have completed. Most importantly, you will finish with the confidence and opportunity to succeed in the interviews CapaCiTi will set up for you. On completion of the programme, you will enter a full time job.
