2 INTRODUCTION CCFF Helsinki has very peculiar configuration, we have an homologue Chamber in France situated in Paris and has its own board. Though both chambers are working hand in hand to best serve their members and companies cases. CCFF Helsinki is mainly depending on the work of few volunteers who are planning, organizing all actions and event of the chamber without any kind of retribution. Due to our regular members and a few actions per year we luckily have the help of one person for few hours per week. Lately there has been a tremendous changes in Finnish and French administration diminishing their governmental budgets dedicated to support national exportation for SME s. Therefore there is a clear gap between needs for services and actual support provided by governments that the CCFF can fill. Our aim is to increase the number of members, number of action and be more involved in the business picture between France in Finland. We want to cooperate even more with institutions from both countries mainly with French and Finnish embassies, Business France, Invest in France, Business Finland and Invest in Finland.

Welcoming and assist French companies in Finland send by our French homologues in Paris. More largely, be the representative of common interests of both countries Contribute to any initiative to develop economical and cultural exchanges between the two countries Offering suitable and à la carte services to companies

4 CCFF is part of CCI International (France) CCI France is the national public body that federates the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI). CCI France represents 2 million French private companies. CCI France is the intermediary between all CCIs and French and European public authorities, international organizations and large public or private partners. CCI France is also represented in Brussels by its European Affairs Department. CCI France's task is to provide guidance, support and advice to the chambers within their spheres of activity : economic watch and intelligence, company development, territorial and infrastructural development, continuing professional education. CCI France has also an Environment and Sustainable Development Unit, which coordinates a network of 200 environmental advisers within the local and regional CCIs.

9 Every other year both of our chambers are meeting either in Paris either in Helsinki. In 2019 this will take place in Helsinki We are taking the opportunity to organize a FrenchFinnish Forum to gather our members and maecenas A rich program of conference on chosen themes such as: FRENCHFINNISH FORUM AUTUMN 2019 Energy and mobility Clean techs Arctic and space technologies etc Renowned speakers, politicians, experts, institutions, institutes, Global companies will be participating Sponsorship Silver : 2500 Gold : 5000 Platinum : Sits at the dinner tables : 250 /person 150 /member GE

10 REGULAR EVENTS Business Lunches: about once a month in Helsinki Once a month with a general participation between 15 to 20 participants. About 6 times per year: February, April, May, June, September, October Cost: price of the lunch at the chosen restaurants in Helsinki Center Aim: regular contacts with the members who wish to be active at the chamber Recruiting new members Inviting important persons to get their support in our actions: local institutions, state institutions, partners, Chamber of commerce, WTC etc. Communication in the Newsletter Cost : 0 Aim: Promotion of our own events or adds from our members and show a common information from Paris and Helsinki. The CCFF Paris is taking care of it from A to Z, we just have to produce a text and a picture.

11 ADMINISTRATION EVENTS CCFF BOARD Workshop/board meetings: from 6 to 8 per year There are 8 administrators at the moment, 4 Finns and 4 French (2 women for 6 men) Subjects: strategy planning, agenda planning, operative work on the planned events etc General assembly: once per year in March Subject: reports of previous assembly can be hand out on request, they are available only in Finnish language: Financial situation Yearly report of activities Planned budget and member fees modification New rules or changes in the management of the association etc

12 OUR AIM FOR THIS YEAR AND THE NEXT Recruiting more Finnish companies We need more members to make it interesting for everyone Organize a nice Forum in 2019 (described earlier) Have high level speakers informing us about the latest development in new technologies shared in both countries. Have a Gala evening in Helsinki city Have a permanent worker working full time for the chamber: VIE We need to have assistance from sponsors to finance this project that would lead to a fully function Chamber : Have a permanent address and an office Offering a full program of event around the year More exposure and more interest from outsiders and partners Implement the present program Offer at least some services to companies
