2 Our 1 st Palm Beach Tech Meetup w/ PayPal s Jon LeBlanc in September 2015 We Started Something In July of 2015, we founded the Palm Beach Tech Association with the goal unifying and building our technology industry here in the Palm Beaches We re proud to say we are on our way to becoming a vibrant technology hub. Our first year was one of building foundations we developed an organization from the ground up, formed key relationships, and set in motion many longterm initiatives. Most importantly, the Palm Beach Tech Space in downtown West Palm Beach was opened, providing us a home base to serve our mission on a daily basis. Now, we re going farther by partnering with great organizations, building crucial resources, and hosting cornerstone events. Our Vision The Palm Beaches will become the premier technology & innovation hub by 2030

4 Our 1 st Palm Beach Tech Hackathon in November 2016 Our Mission The Palm Beach Tech Association will grow the technology industry of Palm Beach County to become a landmark technology & innovation hub. Our Core Initiatives 1. Education Pipeline Work with local education partners to develop the talent pool for local technology companies and startups. 2. Brand Development Capitalize on our global reputation to build a brand drawing business, attracting talent, and producing startups. 3. Community Advocacy Serve as the voice of the technology industry to government and business leaders throughout the county.
5 Our 1 st Palm Beach Tech Meeting in June 2015 Leadership Opportunities Palm Beach Tech is made up of dedicated entrepreneurs, innovators, and executives, with many chances to get involved and grow together! BOARD OF DIRECTORS Mission: Unify and grow the technology industry in Palm Beach County. Goal: Develop the educational pipeline, brand identity, and community acknowledgement of our technology industry. STARTUP COUNCIL Mission: Locate and establish resources for startups in the Palm Beaches. Goal: We want to become the resource hub for startups in the Palm Beaches. EDUCATION COMMITTEE Mission: Coordinate educational partners & develop institute effective programs Goal: Develop a robust pipeline of technology talent within Palm Beach County. EVENTS & BRANDING COMMITTEE Mission: Build community and increase awareness of our technology industry through monthly meetups, cornerstone events, and unique marketing efforts. Goal: The Palm Beaches will be seen as a technology hub throughout the world. PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE Mission: Develop relationships with local leaders and advocate for policies to facilitate startup growth, business recruitment, and entrepreneurial activity. Goal: Palm Beach County will have the friendliest business policies possible. VENTURE CAPITAL COMMITTEE Mission: Connect startups to both funding and expertise needed to succeed. Goal: Create a sustainable and scalable investment community with the expertise necessary to help startups launch, grow, and stay in our area.
