12 WHO WE ARE James H. McMahon, Sr. CEO James McMahon offers over fifty years of experience to the construction industry. He began his career as a laborer and worked his way up to construction superintendent. In 1970, he and a partner began their own general contracting firm, Mac s Construction Company, Inc. As CEO of the company, Mr. McMahon oversees daily operation of all construction sites. He supervises all job superintendents and coordinates construction. James H. Hal McMahon, Jr. President A 1983 graduate from The University of Southern Mississippi, Hal began working at Mac s Construction Company, Inc. in his early years as a laborer and project assistant. Upon receiving his degree in Business Administration, Hal became project expediter at Mac s and quickly progressed to project administrator. As president, Hal coordinates business decisions made by the corporation, as well as aspects of the company s financial operation. He continues to maintain major involvement in bidding, negotiation of work and project administration.
