4 I. EDUCATION IN SOME COUNTRIES COMPARATION AMONG OF THEM Source: KP3EI, 2013 High Medium Low High HUMAN RESOURCES IS ONE OF KEY INDICATORS FOR GLOBAL COMPETITION AND INDUSTRIALIZATION. IF COMPARED TO OTHER OECD COUNTRY, INDONESIA CONSISTS OF PEOPLE WITH LOWER HIGH EDUCATION BACKGROUND (7.20%), OR LESS THAN 32% POPULATION ONLY HAVE MEDIUM-HIGH EDUCATION. BUT THE GOVERNMENT IS ALWAYS IMPROVING THIS SITUATION SO WE EXPECT MORE NUMBER OF INDONESIAN PEOPLE WILL BE MORE EDUCATED IN THE FUTURE RATIO OF INDONESIAN RESEARCHERS IS 544 RESEARCHERS PER 1 MILLION POPULATION (YEAR 2014). TURKEY = 1.730, PR CHINA = 1.285, JAPAN = 7.021, MALAYSIA 2.384, SINGAPURA 7.199, AND BRAZIL 1203 ( 11 July 2014) Medium Low High Medium Low
