1 Give Local York Partnership Packet York County s Largest Day of Giving! Presented by the York Federal Fellows Alumni Association For the first time ever, on May 4, 2018, our community will be transformed into a community-wide celebration of generosity that benefits hundreds of nonprofit organizations serving York County. Every dollar donated at GiveLocalYork.org on that day will be amplified by a stretch pool and prizes, so giving local goes farther than ever. From First Friday activities to dine outs, flash mobs and more, Give Local York will unite organizations and individuals for 24 hours as part of a deeply engaging celebration of good work and giving back in York County. How it works: On May 4, 2018, visit GiveLocalYork.org from any computer, smartphone, or device. Donate to any of the hundreds of local organizations and each donation will be stretched by a pool of funds raised from our Give Local York sponsors. The stretch pool works as a percentage, so if an organization receives 3% of the total donations, they will receive 3% of the stretch pool. Plus, there will also be prizes that any individual can win for the organization of their choice! Event Sponsorships Your gift will not only help this first-time event come to life, it will quite literally support hundreds of organizations at once. Event sponsorship gifts will be distributed between event costs and Stretch Pool creation. Stretch Pool Are you looking to help as many organizations as possible with just one gift? Your donation will be used to amplify all participating organizations total gifts that day by way of a percentage match. Our Stretch Pool goal for 2018 is $100,000!
