Please take the opportunity to nominate a deserving small business for the Chamber's annual Small Business of the Year Award. This award is given based on the information on this form; each question has a corresponding value and is rated by a panel of no fewer than four judges. To be eligible for the Small Business of the Year Award, the business must be physically located in Taney or Stone County. The award will be presented at the Small Business, Charity & Ozark Mountain Hospitality of the Year Dinner. The application must be complete to be considered for the award. This award is given to the local non-profit organization that distinguishes itself through excellence in pursuit of its mission while meeting a defined public need, providing outstanding service to its constituents and the community, and demonstrating good stewardship of donor dollars and sound business practices. To be eligible for this award, the organization must be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt and designated as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.
