The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1,500, certificate of honour and plaque. The name of the award is also cited on the top of the first page of the paper in the journal. The paper is selected for the award by the evaluation committee when the issue is complete. AgricINTERNATIONAL (ISSN: Online, NAAS Score 2.25) Editor in Chief: Amit Vikram One paper published in each issue of AgricINTERNATIONAL is awarded PK Memorial Best Paper Award. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1,000, certificate of honour and plaque. The name of the award is also cited on the top of the first page of the paper in the journal. The paper is selected for the award by the evaluation committee when the issue is complete.

Read all the instructions carefully. Incomplete applications will be rejected. 2. Only hard copy of the application will be entertained. 3. Separate application should be sent for each award. Write the name of the Award on the first page of the application. An applicant applying for more than one award can prepare a single draft only and the applications can be posted in one pack. 4. Write name on the backside of draft and photograph in lead pencil. Do not sign or put any mark on your photograph as it is to be scanned. Do not staple photograph and draft with the application rather put them in a separate envelope. Another photogrpah should be pasted on the cv/biodata page. 5. The fees may be paid in cash in the office of the Society OR remitted through bank draft drawn in favour of Society for Advancement of Human and Nature (SADHNA) payable at any Nationalised bank at Solan or Nauni (Solan) OR through IPO favouring Society for Advancement of Human and Nature (SADHNA) payable at Nauni (Solan) Post Office OR transferred online through NEFT/ RTGS to the Society s saving account at UCO bank, Nauni (Account No: , IFSC code: UCBA ). Send proof of transaction along with the application. Do not send cash with the application through post. 6. The number of awards and amount may vary. Decision of the evaluation committees will be final and binding in all the cases. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Solan, HP, India. 7. All the awardees will be given plaques and certificates of honour along with cash awards, wherever applicable. 8. Convassing in any form will be a disqualification. Last date for receiving the entries for all the awards is 31 DECEMBER 2018 Above and Beyond Awards Three awards will be given to the scientists, teachers, extension workers, field workers, managers etc in the field of farming/agriculture and allied fields for their outstanding contribution. How to apply: Only Life Members/Life Authors of SADHNA can apply. Send resume/cv/ bio-data (including full address, and phone number) and a good quality passport size photograph along with recommendation letters from two persons of repute (including their full address, and phone number). Additional information may be sought later, if required. Award: Three cash awards of Rs 10,000 each along with plaques and certificates of honour. Awardees will also be included in the Permanent Honorary Board of the Society.

4 Paramount Achievement Awards Five awards will be given to the scientists, teachers, extension workers, field workers, managers etc in the field of farming/agriculture and allied fields for their examplary work and contribution made. How to apply: Only Life Members/Life Authors of SADHNA can apply. Send resume/cv/ bio-data (including full address, and phone number) and a good quality passport size photograph along with recommendation letters from two persons of repute (including their full address, and phone numbers). Additional information may be sought later, if required. Award: Five cash awards of Rs 5,000 each along with plaques and certificates of honour. Awardees will also be included in the Permanent Honorary Board of the Society. Achiever Awards Ten awards will be given to recognize the contribution made by scientists, teachers, extension workers, field workers, managers etc in the field of farming/agriculture and allied fields directly or indirectly. How to apply: Send resume/cv/bio-data (including full address, and phone numbers) and a good quality passport size photograph along with recommendation letters from two persons of repute (including their full address, and phone numbers). Additional information may be sought later, if required. Fee: There is no fee for applying for the award. However the winners of the awards will have to bear the processing and other incidental charges as notified by the Society from time to time after their selection for the award. Award: Besides plaques and certificates of honour, awardees will also be included in the Permanent Honorary Board of the Society and get Life Membership of the Society. Braja Gopal Sharma Memorial All India Best Agricultural Extension Worker Awards Instituted by Ms Bunty Shylla in everlasting memory of her father Late Mr Braja Gopal Sharma, a great artist and social worker from Shillong, Meghalaya, the awards are open for scientists who have excelled as extension workers in the area of agriculture and allied fields. How to apply: Send resume/cv/bio-data (including full address, and phone numbers) and a good quality passport size photograph along with recommendation letters from two persons of repute (including their full address, and phone numbers). Additional information may be sought later, if required. Award: Plaques, certificates of honour and cash awards (2 Outstanding Extension Workers of Rs 2500 each and 2 Best Extension Workers of Rs 1500 each).

5 Jagar Nath Raina Memorial All India Best Publication Awards The Awards are instituted in the memory of Late Sh Jagar Nath Raina, Veteran Journalist who served with UNI as Bureau Chief, Srinagar (J&K) for 31 years, by his sons Mr Ajit Raina and Mr Anil Raina of Pune, MS. The publication can be a research article, review article, book, book chapter or concept paper (not more than 10 years old). The consideration will be given to the quality of the publication and not simply to the journal/book in which it is published. Jagar Nath Raina Memorial All India Best Research Awards at Doctorate Level Instituted in the memory of Late Sh Jagar Nath Raina Veteran Journalist, the award is open for the candidates who have obtained their Doctorate Degree (not more than 10 years old) in agriculture or allied fields in India. How to apply: An applicant should submit a summary of thesis, one page abstract, attested copy of the PhD degree and his/her one page resume including , contact number and recent passport size photograph. Do mention the name, designation, address, phone number and of your Guide/Chairman in your resume. Award: Two Best Research cash awards of Rs 5,000 each will be given besides Plaques and certificates Er JP Gupta Memorial All India Best Research Awards at Master s Level Instituted by Mrs Rajshree Gupta of Solan, HP in the memory of her husband, Late Er JP Gupta the award is open for the candidates who have obtained their MSc/MTech/MBA (not more than 10 years old) in agriculture or allied fields in India. How to apply: An applicant should submit a summary of thesis, one page abstract, attested copy of the MSc/MTech/MBA degree and his/her one page resume including , contact number and recent passport size photograph.
