3 SECTION B EVENT SUMMARY AND PROJECT PLAN The basis of your application is an Event Summary and a Project Plan. These are to be a maximum of one page each. They should give a simple background to the event/organisation and the project, and examples can be found at Event Summary Events Tasmania 3 New Idea Grants

5 SECTION C NEW IDEA RESPONSES TO CRITERIA New Idea Grant applicants have the opportunity to specifically address the six assessment criteria of Impact, Quality, Feasibility, Reach, Strategy and Community. This is in addition to your Event Summary and Project Plan. Please limit your responses to a half page of information per criterion. On pages 1-2 of this form, there are lists of evidential documentation which can be provided pertinent to each criterion. If your organisation has developed this documentation, you can supply these as attachments to your application. You must outline their content and key messages within your Event Summary, Project Plan and/or Responses to criteria, as the majority of assessment will focus on these responses. 1. Impact Guideline: what will be the legacy of this project for the event, community and Tasmania? What will the financial and community/liveability return on investment be for State Government and event organisers? Events Tasmania 5 New Idea Grants

6 2. Quality Guideline: what is the overall quality of the project, of the event, of the idea, of the team, of the planning and submission for funds? Events Tasmania 6 New Idea Grants

7 3. Feasibility Guideline: can the project be delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard by the identified team and within the financial scope of the grant? Events Tasmania 7 New Idea Grants

Which groups in the community, businesses, organisations, and government entities will be involved with, contribute funds and resources to, and benefit from this project.
