2 We re more than the average volleyball club... 7 REASONS TO JOIN THE SOCAL FAMILY OUR GYM IS YOUR GYM. We re like a volleyball country club from the time our doors open to when they close at night, SoCal members can play on any open court, arrange to join another team s practice, or use available workout equipment. This gym is for you! OUR COACHING AND SUPPORT TEAM TRULY CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD. Sure, many of our coaches are highly decorated players themselves and dominantly represent North County s high school programs, but they re SoCal Coaches because of their compassion for SoCal members, excitement to teach, and eagerness to share their love and knowledge of the game. OUR SIGHT ON THE FUTURE. Our vision is for every SoCal player to go to the college that is the best fit. Our college workshop offers guidance for middle and high school students and answers questions about applications. And for players ages 15 and up with aspirations to continue with volleyball, we ll assist them in every step of the recruiting process; from video footage, communicating with college coaches, to reminding them about when their FAFSA is due. OUR SUPPORT FOR STUDENT-ATHLETES. Our homework room is designed to support SoCal s young student-athletes as they learn timemanagement skills. Equipped with computers, desks, and comfy reading areas; we ve arranged a quiet place for players to focus on their academics before they head onto the court for practice. OUR YEAR-ROUND TRAINING SCHEDULE. All of our players train through August--so after the competitive club season ends, players are encouraged to continue developing their game. OUR CONVIENCE AND ACCESIBILTY FOR PARENTS. The SoCal Gym is the home court for all SoCal team practices so there is no shuffling around to different gym sites. With ample seating, free Wi-Fi and yummy treats from our in-house coffee shop The Peace Café, the SoCal gym can be a remote office. Or with our spin bikes, fitness area, and partnership with Foundation Strength parents can use SoCal as their own personal gym. OUR MEMBERS ARE THE BEST!
