2 LOS ANGELES TEAM MENTORING Los Angeles Team Mentoring is a non-profit organization that provides a team mentoring approach for at-risk middle school youth. The mission of Los Angeles Team Mentoring is to guide middle school students growing up in challenging urban environments to recognize and reach their full potential as members of our community. Through a school-based approach to mentoring, young adolescents are given the tools and support necessary to make positive choices during a critical period in their lives. 6 Hello Project MATCH supporters! The Project MATCH interns will participate in mock-interview sessions on Saturday, November 14th. The event is tentatively scheduled to take place at LA Valley College from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. The program is in need of volunteers to serve as mock interviewers. Each volunteer will be on a 3-4 person team and will conduct formal mock interviews for approximately 8 Project MATCH interns. At the end of the day, everyone will gather for a debriefing session and panel discussion at which time each interviewer can impart his or her wisdom and words of advice to the interns.
