1 Application Form The 2018 FIDF is an opportunity for young professionals ages to become part of a transformational journey that will engage participants and, ultimately, prepare them to become the next generation of FIDF leadership. As a Mission participant, you will receive a $2,000 subsidy (this does not include flights) to join young professionals from across the United States for an exclusive mission to Israel. Discover Israel - alongside IDF soldiers become immersed in the culture, connect with experts on foreign affairs, and engage in the country s rich history. The total cost that participants will pay is 1 $1,199 (participants are to purchase their flight tickets individually). Mission participants will take part in: Post Mission group fundraising project for a specific project or program to be determined by all Mission participants A minimum of 2 FIDF Young Leadership programs during 2018/2019 Sharing one s experiences with FIDF leadership as well as potential future mission candidates in your respective cities To qualify as a candidate, applicants must: Be able to describe one s own leadership qualities and how they would benefit FIDF s Young Leadership program; for more information regarding FIDF s Young Leadership, please visit our website Complete the application below no later than March 30, 2018 The selection process is as follows: If your application is selected, an interview with an FIDF Professional will be scheduled After this interview, FIDF s National Office will make the final participant selections You will be notified by FIDF s National Young Leadership Professionals if you are selected by April 27, FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Airfare transportation; airport taxes, customs, and immigration fees; passports & visa fees; travel and baggage insurance; meals not included in the itinerary; personal expenses 1
