1 Chamber Membership Benefits The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce represents the business interests of more than 500 members who support our mission to make Harbor Country the premier place to live, work, and play. Benefits for Your Business 1. Advertising & Promotion Members receive complimentary listings in the Harbor Country Guide, the area s official Visitors Guide and on the area s most visited website and the official link to the state s Pure Michigan campaign. 2. Networking -- Monthly After Hours Mixers with a Twist are outstanding opportunities for showcasing your business and building connections for your products and services. 3. Business referrals Whenever customers call or contact the Chamber looking for a business to use, we only refer to Chamber members. 4. Business Resources & Assistance Through a partnership with Cornerstone Alliance, free consultations for specific business challenges, as well as training, workshops, and information sessions are available at the newly created Harbor Country Business Resource Center. 5. Access Members may purchase mailing labels or membership lists for targeted direct mail campaigns for a nominal fee. 6. Economic development Your support allows the Chamber to work with local municipalities and partners on business attraction and retention efforts that positively impact the local economy. 7. A non-profit organization, governmental agency, school, or church that has been determined to be tax-exempt by the IRS (IRS determination letter must accompany application). Non-profits located in Harbor Country are entitled to the same benefits as Full Business members. Non-profits located outside of Harbor Country are entitled to the same benefits as Neighbors of Harbor Country. A non-business supporter of the Chamber, such as a resident, retiree, or second homeowner. Banks, loan offices, credit unions, or any other financially-related institutions. Financial institutions located in Harbor Country are entitled to the same benefits as Full Business members. Financial institutions located outside of Harbor Country are entitled to the same benefits as Neighbors of Harbor Country. Must be located within Harbor Country. I understand that Chamber membership is an ongoing yearly commitment and that my application for membership is subject to approval by the Chamber Board of Directors.
