Panelists: Dr Omar Sarr, Director of Reproductive Health and Child Survival, MOH, Senegal; Dr Arsène Binanga Director of Family Planning Programs for Tulane University in Kinshasa, DRC; Maryjane Lacoste, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; 11:30 SESSION 3 Breaking Down Silos: the Global Family Planning VAN and Innovation Interactive session: Moderated by Julia White from the RHSC, this session will unpack the basics of a new Coalition-managed initiative to increase supply chain visibility through a Global Family Planning Visibility and Analytics Network (Global FP VAN). It will ground the Global FP VAN work in RHSC s history and highlight the recurring questions/challenges it is trying to answer. An interactive session will invite audience members to participate in table conversations with Global FP VAN partners from USAID, UNFPA, DFID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, manufacturers and countries (Malawi & Nigeria) to explore the Global FP VAN's innovative approaches to system selection, data management, data sharing, and country linkages. 12:30 LUNCH Foyer First Floor

4 TIME EVENT CONTENT 16:15 SESSION 6 Mind the Gap: New strategies from growing and broadening the funding base for supplies Moderated by Mindy Scibilia of CHAI, this panel session presents key findings from the newly completed 2018 Commodity Gap Analysis and then uses those findings as springboards for addressing the question What does it take to fill that gap? Panelists will review efforts now underway to increase donor funding and mobilize domestic resources for RH supplies. This session will seek to demonstrate why young people need special attention compared to all people in the world with an unmet need regarding RH supplies, explore the RHSC Youth Caucus Key Messages as recommendations to take action, and highlight the benefit of a youth-centered focus to the work of the RHSC.
