6 American Apprenticeship Grant Strategy #1 - Building the Pipeline/Career Pathways 1. Partnerships with the K-12: Building the Bridge between Youth Apprenticeship and Registered Apprenticeship. 2. Underemployed and unemployed: Expand programs that target this population with organizations such as WRTP/BIG STEP and Operation Fresh Start Strategy # 2 - Expanding Apprenticeship into H1B Occupations 1. Information Technology - Two groups have expressed interest (Central WI IT Consortium and WI Technology Council 2. Advanced Manufacturing - (Mechatronics, Welder Fab program, Industrial Maintenance Tech, Maintenance Technician) 3. Healthcare Strategy #3 Strengthen partnership activities as identified in the Grant and activities from the Summit.
