12 MSCA for Brazil based researchers Brazilian researchers or based in Brazil are eligible to MSCA to: Carry out a PhD in Europe (ITN & Cofund) => EURAXESS Jos Carry out a post doc (IF) with host institution based in Europe, from the academic or the non-academic sector Competitive, generous & prestigious grants

13 MSCA for Brazilian research institutions Brazilian institutions performing research (public or private, academy or not) can take part in a: research training network with EU partners (ITN) joint research and innovation project through short term intersectorial & international staff exchange (RISE) host an EU based research for free (IF)

15 Innovative Training Network ITN WHAT? doctoral training programme offered by a group of complementary institution WHO? Doctoral candidates, including from Peru HOW? apply to the PhD positions created by these networks, including Industrial Doctorate and Joint Doctorate. => advertised on the Euraxess Job portal. Brazilian institutions can join a consortium, together with their European partners to host secondments

16 Individual Fellowships - IF WHAT? transnational post-doctoral fellowships Within or into Europe - European Fellowships Outside Europe - Global Fellowships WHO? Experienced researchers HOW? Directly to the MSCA with a host institution Annual calls

17 Individual fellowship IF / EF (incoming = from Brazil to Europe) Fellows either go to Europe, or move within Europe Researchers from Brazil submit a research proposal, together with a European host institution

18 Individual fellowship IF / GF (outgoing= from Europe to Brazil) (1) (2) Fellows from Europe coming to Brazil and returning. Institutions from Brazil can express their interest in hosting European researchers on EURAXESS portal. The incoming researcher is funded by MSCA = 0 cost for the Brazilian hosting institution
