1 Participate in the EUREM-training and be proud to save! Dear Member, EUREM is the training program for Energy Efficiency Specialists in India. The Indo- German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) invites Operation Heads-, Plant Managers- and Maintenance Managers of your company to participate in the EUREM-training in Mumbai. They will be able to develop and implement commercially viable and environmentally friendly changes in energy use and consumption in industries we all want to see. The training is successfully conducted in around 30 countries worldwide. Energy costs are constantly on the rise. Companies are forced to find energy efficient solutions in order to reduce consumption and cost to remain competitive in global markets. IGCC has recognized the rising importance of energy efficiency and can present a training that will cover the whole portfolio of energy efficiency measures currently used in industries. The EUREM enables the relevant employees of your company to become certified Energy Efficiency Specialists. They deal with the resources of your company on a daily basis, knowing the strengths but also the weaknesses of your manufacturing, assembling or service providing processes. For the EUREM-training in India IGCC made sure that the program, developed in Germany, is specially tailored to the terms and conditions here, hence serving needs and requirements of companies in India. The EUREM training is an opportunity for companies and employees to benefit from technical and management know-how and skills for developing and implementing energy concepts that will immediately support companies in optimizing power consumption and saving energy costs. Additionally, participants receive individual certifications which are acknowledged worldwide. They will also gain access to solution providers, trainers and fellow participants locally as well as within the international EUREM-network. Trainers will not only conduct the workshops, but will also be available to discuss solutions, to guide into energy efficiency measures and to mentor participants during the development of commercially viable energy concepts for their companies. After the training, a written exam will be conducted. Participants will get the opportunity to present their energy concepts to a panel of eminent experts in energy efficiency.

2 Curriculum details The EUREM training includes 176 teaching lessons within 11 modules, tailor made for the Indian market. Divided into various subtopics the training provides the participants with the appropriate technological and management know-how on energy efficiency in industries. Modules Energy Fundamentals, Measurement and Control Energy Efficient Buildings Electrical Applications Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Cooling Heat Technologies Solar Technologies and Hybridisation Energy Regulations and Industries Energy Management Efficiency and Project Management Business Responsibility/ CSR No. of lessons (45 min) Financing of energy efficiency measures, especially for SMEs The workshops will be held over a period of ten blocks within three months. The planned dates for the first EUREM training starting in Mumbai in April 2016 are outlined in the next section.
