On behalf of Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Expression of Interest is invited by Goa International Airport, Dabolim, Goa from leading and prominent artists/art curators from Government fine arts college, Art academies, Department of culture of state government and NGOs and freelancers working in relevant sector across the country for empanelment as Art Curator for Goa International Airport for the work Display of Art work at Goa International Airport, Dabolim, Goa. 1. OBJECTIVE 1.1 Airports Authority of India, with a mission to build an enduring Indian aviation network, aspires to enhance the customer experience with each passing day. In order to enhance customer experience which can connect forging and visitors from other states with local region and its community, it is proposed to create a sense of place within airport by reflecting the unique identity and culture of the local area/state. 1.2 This EOI is invited to empanel Artists/Art Curator from Government Fine Arts colleges/art Academies/Department of culture of state Government / NGO / Freelancers/ Renowned Architects/Interior Designers having experience in conceptualizing and designing of Painting / Mural/ Digital work and sculpture work for the work of Display of Art work at Goa International Airport, Dabolim, Goa. 1.3 Goa International Airport currently consists of terminal building of appx sqm of passenger/visitors area. In addition to that there is carpark and approach roads were art installations can be put up to enhance visitors experience to Airport. 1.4 The Art Curator shall visit the airport and advice regarding the kind of local/regional art work (mural/oil/sculpture or any other classified form), appropriate material to be used in the art work, location for installation/display of artwork at airport, size and quantity of work etc which will enhance the experience of visitors coming to Goa International Airport. 1.5 In addition some artworks are already on display, which may be considered for enhancement/relocation to meet the spirit of Para 1.1.

2 1.6 The general ratio for the display of art work may be as follows Local art work-70%, other state-20%, and International-10%. 1.7 The art work must be suitable of creating good ambience and should not harm any religious sentiments. 1.8 The art work can be Painting/Mural/Digital/Any other innovative media symbolizing culture, heritage and history of the place at vantage points. 2. ELIGIBILITY 2.1 The Artist / Agency should have experience in conceptualizing and designing, of sculpture work, nature of art, mural, painting and digital work etc. Art curators in general shall not be repeated for more than 3 airports in a year. 2.2 Work orders/ Experience / completion certificate from the Govt. Organizations / PSU Private clients shall be submitted for having designed similar type of desired work. Agency shall submit undertaking as per Annexure-A along with application. 2.3 Copy of GST Registration Numbers, and if GST registration no. is not available then declaration is required to be submited by Artists/Agencies to obtain the same within Two weeks from the date of submitting the application. 3. SCOPE OF WORK 3.1 The art curator shall visit the airport, generate an overall theme for Goa International Airport showcasing the heritage, culture and art forms of the regions, incorporating existing artworks at various locations of Airport and submit the proposal with details regarding the kind of local/regional art work (mural/oil/sculpture or any other classified form), appropriate material to be used in the art work, location for installation/display of artwork at airport, size and quantity of work etc. 3.2 Tentative Size and location for each art, Mural, painting and Digital work should be submitted in details in hard colour copies and soft copies However, these are only indicative and any suggestions from Airports Authority of India also be considered by selected artists/art curator and revised designs/drawings should be submitted by Artist/Agency after consultation with Airports Authority of India. 3.3 To assist AAI in initiating of Expression of Interest for Art work from Reputed / Renowned Architects / Interior Designers/ Art Galleries / Agencies having experience in designing and execution of similar Art / Mural/ Sculpture work to execute the selected themes approved by AAI 3.4 To assist AAI in selecting best design from the Expression of Interest received as per technical Bid and finalizing financial bid. 3.5 To assist AAI in art evaluation of completed work.

3 3.6 To Assist AAI in restoration of the available art work in various part of terminal building. 4. Honorarium. 4.1 As per the AAI policy on display of artwork at airports the Art curator is eligible for an honorarium to be paid by AAI. You may quote the honorarium for the job assuming that the entire process of selection of art forms and execution of the art work can be completed within 18 months.minimum 3 visits are expected from the art curator during the selection process and final visit on completion of the work.additional site visits if required need to be under taken as per the need basis.(if the completion of the overall work is extended beyond planned period of 18 months, the period of this agreement can be extended on mutually agreed terms). 4.2 TA DA and local arrangements for lodging/boarding will be taken care by AAI as per the eligibility criteria under AAI policy. 4.3 Payment of Honorarium will be paid in three installments as per the work progress. 4.4 AAI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOI without assigning any reasons. AAI also reserves the right to call off EOI at any stage without assigning any reasons. 5. SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS 5.1 Documents showing Experience for Similar nature of ART Display Work at Govt. Organizations, Public Sector Units or at ART exhibition at national/state level organized by Government, Public Sector units, renowned organization. Awards acclaimed at International/National /State level will be preferred. Also, documents are to be provided showing details of similar nature of activity carried out at other reputed Organizations /Airports/Ports/Railway stations. Annexure-A should be submitted dully signed and stamped on Agency Letter head. 5.2 The selected Artists/Art Curators (from the empanelled list) will be required to submit their proposals along with financial bids to AAI. The proposal Submitted by the selected agencies shall be evaluated by a committee nominated by AAI. The selected Agencies/ Art Curators will be required to give presentation of their proposal in front of the selection committee. 5.3 Artists/Art Curators shall ensure that their application for empanelment along with all required documents reach the office as mentioned on or before till 1530 Hrs. 5.4 AAI reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal without assigning any reasons thereof. 5.5 Any Queries may be ed on below provided details and can be contacted on Mobile numbers within Working hours at the following contact:
