2 About Formula SAE Formula SAE is a internationally recognized collegiate design and engineering competition held in various locations around the globe. The goal for this competition is for college teams to use business and engineering skills to design, build, and market a formulastyle racing car to the weekend racer. The LX-17 placed 31 st at the 2017 SAE Lincoln competition, a rise of 18 places compared to the LX-16 from the previous year. CU Denver s Lynx Motorsport team will again be competing at the event held in Lincoln, Nebraska during the summer of Lynx Motorsports Mission Statement At CU Denver, we believe that a combination of education, diversity, ethics, professionalism and teamwork sparks extraordinary ideas that results in an unparalleled quality of engineering The LX-15 (top), the LX-16 (middle), and the LX-17 (bottom) showcase the recent evolution of Lynx Motorsports.

This includes items ranging from engineering design consulting, to driver training and testing on professional courses.
