1 Be BUSINESS/ ENTREPRENEURSHIP I am extremely grateful for the experience and insight that our teachers gave us. I really enjoyed the process of learning how to analyze information and create solutions to a pressing social issue. - Caleb W., Bowie MD GEORGETOWN JULY 02 JULY 22, 2017 PRICE: $5,995 + AIRFARE For students completing grades 9-12 PROGR SCHEDULE JULY WELCOME TO GEORGETOWN 03 STUDENT ORIENTATION 04 CELEBRATE THE FOURTH! 08 WASHINGTON DC DAY 09 SIX FLAGS DC 15 BALTIMORE HARBOR 16 WASHINGTON DC DAY 20 & 21 PITCH COMPETITION 21 FINAL DINNER & DANCE 22 GOODBYE GEORGETOWN Social Entrepreneurship is the process by which citizens build or transform business institutions to advance solutions to social problems. Social Entrepreneurship at Georgetown introduces students to the vibrant culture of social change and its intersection with entrepreneurship in the United States. Washington DC is the place to find big solutions to big problems with the full weight of America s experience and resources to leverage. In DC, students will find the tools and skills they need to build their own social ventures from the ground-up on the campus of its most historic university.

2 GEORGETOWN 2017 AT A GLANCE LIVE IT Accommodations At Village C East, students are housed in double rooms on single-gender halls. Each bedroom has its own private bath and full air conditioning. Your roommate will be carefully selected using our housing questionnaire and taking into consideration age and geographic diversity. Student Life and Dining The residence hall is located near the popular Healey Center, home to the Bulldog Tavern, an on-campus restaurant, and great communal work spaces. All meals are provided as part of the program fee and full buffet-style dining is available during breakfast, lunch and dinner at Leo s, the university dining hall. The traditional, wood-paneled hall provides a great collegiate ambience and is a terrific place to catch up with friends. Athletics At Georgetown, students have full access to the Yates Field House, Georgetown s primary recreation facility, featuring an indoor pool, sports courts, a running track, fitness area and golf center.
