If you wish to create and design your own magazine, DHRUV 2018 gives you a perfect platform where you are free to use your business knowledge along with your creativity. Additionally, we also provide you with an opportunity to explore the manager in you. It is a fantastic and enthusiastic competition where your thoughts will be provoked. Each team will comprise of exactly 3 members. The event will be of 2 rounds. Round 1: Magazine Designing From the given material, make a magazine covering most significant articles based on allotted theme. 1. The topic for the magazine will be given at the time of event only and material will be provided for the same.

2 2. Magazine should be of 7 page which includes 5 pages for articles and 2 pages for advertisement. 3. The team will be asked to explain their Magazine within the duration of 3 minutes. 4. The team will be judged on the basis of their content, design creativity and presentation. Round 2: AD Making 1. Each shortlisted team will be given 1 product on chit selection basis. 2. They will have to prepare a 1 min ad and a jingle, promoting the product in a single advertisement. 3. They will be judged on the basis of innovation in ad making and presentation. 4 This is not an elimination round and results will be declared on the basis of 1st & 2nd round both. OLYMPUS Sharp brains will exhibit different knacks, as cases will be tough nuts to crack, Crown of Olympus awaits them, to carry legacy of Chanakya s name. Individual as well as team participation is invited (Each team will comprise of maximum 3 members). The event will be held in Department of management sciences (PUMBA), University of Pune Campus. Event will comprise of 2 rounds out of which first round will be conducted online. After the elimination round (Online) teams will be called to Event location for actual case study presentation. Teams will have to strictly adhere to the reporting time, failing to which they would be disqualified. Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, retains the discretion to shortlist the entries. The selection will remain as objective as possible and will be final & binding. After the registration is over, the teams will be mailed a case study. 2. They will have to submit the answers of the questions provided with the case study by 5pm on 20 Jan They will be judged on the basis of their content and understanding of the case. 4. After the elimination round, shortlisted Candidates/teams have to mail their presentations for the same case study within the stipulated time to the given address. (Non receipt of presentation will lead to disqualification of the candidate). 2. The presentation should not be more than 10 slides. 3. Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, will provide the following presentation facilities to the shortlisted candidates: Computer/laptop LCD projector Public address system 4. Participants are free to use any other presentation aid by informing prior to the coordinators about the same. 5. Each participant will be allotted 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q & A. 6. Evaluation of the presentation will be based on the following parameters: Relevance Conclusiveness Factuality Uniqueness Flow of the presentation Completeness Presentation skills Q & A justification 7. A winner, runner up will be selected from the finalist. 8. Participation certificates will be given to all the shortlisted participants. 9. In case of tie for the first place, the prize shall be shared between the two participants. IPL Auction Ever thought what you would do if you got a chance to build your own IPL team. To use your knowledge of the Big Game and your sixth sense to create the perfect

4 team that goes on to lift the coveted Trophy. To use permutation and combination and make the best choice keeping in mind the huge investment that goes into putting together a winning team. To learn Strategizing, Resource management and Entrepreneurship, all at the same time in a fun-filled Cricketing event. So, grab the chance of building your very own IPL team. A team can have a maximum of 3 members. No participant can be a part of more than one team. The competition will be conducted in 2 rounds. Teams which do not adhere to the rules and regulations can be disqualified at any phase of the event. A quiz round consisting of 30 questions which will test your cricket knowledge. 2. The quiz will be related to the famous events in cricket which are quite easily remembered by a cricket fanatic. Round 2 : Final Auction 1. This includes the real bidding mechanism. Going with the real mechanism of the IPL bidding this round will contain 8 teams. 1. Each team will be given an equal amount of money for the bidding. 2. They are expected to assemble a team with a mix of batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders and wicket-keepers from a pool of players being auctioned. 3. A list of all players available for the auction, along with their base price and value points will be provided to the teams in the beginning. Bidding for each player will begin at his base price. 4. Team with highest value points at the end of the auction will be declared as the Winner. TREASURE HUNT Get ready for a game filled with sheer Fun, Excitement & Thrill. Quiz will consist of 4 rounds. Details about each round will be disclosed at the time of event. 2. The Quiz will contain question on General Knowledge and Daily Awareness. Round 2 : Treasure Hunt 1. The hunt will consist of 3 rounds. 2. The first round will start at PUMBA dept with the first clue, which will lead the team towards their first destination. 3. If team is not able to decode the clue, they can ask for hint after 10 mins. 2 minutes will be added in the final total time as penalty for every hint they ask. 4. Similarly, team will get next clue after the first clue and last clue is for treasure. 5. Teams will be disqualified if they are caught cheating. 6. The team which will perform the hunt & find the treasure in less time will advance to the next round. 7. Detailed instructions about each round will be conveyed at the time of event.
