4 Show Overview The natural choice The Nordic countries are famous for being at the forefront of promoting natural, sustainable and healthy lifestyles. Yet, incredibly, there has never been a major trade show dedicated to this important industry until now! Following extensive consultation, leading international exhibition organiser, Diversified Business Communications, organisers of Natural & Organic Products Europe in London, have announced the launch of Natural Products Scandinavia. This major new international event will be held in Malmö, Sweden, and is expected to attract visitors from throughout Scandinavia, from independent health stores and specialist retailers, to the leading multiples, pharmacies, supermarkets and department stores. It is also expected to attract a substantial international presence due to the region s reputation for innovation and generally being an international leader in the manufacture and promotion of products supporting a healthy lifestyle. The perfect location Malmö is perfectly located at the southern tip of Sweden, just opposite Copenhagen, and benefits from easy access from all parts of the Nordic region. Just ten minutes by train from Kastrup (Copenhagen) Airport, Malmö itself is a fabulous destination, with great restaurants and an excellent choice of hotels. But what really makes the show stand apart is the venue, the superb new MalmöMässan, which promises to become an attraction in its own right and provide the perfect home for an international event with the stature of Natural Products Scandinavia. 5 Why Natural Products Scandinavia? Despite the region s strong tradition and reputation in natural health, sustainability and organic food production, many retailers have missed a dedicated trade show for this important sector. So we have spent the past 12 months researching the idea of launching a dedicated trade event, including talking to potential exhibitors, conversations with buyers and manufacturers, and consultation with the relevant trade associations. The result of this is the launch of Natural Products Scandinavia. As organisers of one of the most successful trade shows in the world for the sector, we understand it better than most. However, rather than just copy our established shows, the event will be tailor made to meet the specific needs of the Scandinavian market. Uniquely, the event will cover the whole Nordic region, with the marketing campaign carried out at local country level and translated into each specific country language. The event will attract both retailers and wholesalers from throughout all the Scandinavian countries, as well as visitors from further afield who we will attract using our substantial international database and reputation as organisers of quality trade exhibitions.
