1 HIRING OF SERVICES OF QUALITY HOTEL OF OSLO FOR PIA COCKPIT CREW LAYOVER IN OSLO, NORWAY Year Competitive Offers are invited from quality hotels of Oslo, Norway to accommodate Pakistan International Airline s Cockpit Crew. Number of Room Nights and other required specifications along with Bid Evaluation Criteria are as follows : Rooms Nights Requirements Per Annum 730 (@ 2 Rooms a day) Duration of Agreement (2 years) Starting Date July 01, 2012 Ending Date June 30, 2014 Check-in/Check-out Timings A Check-in/Check-out Window is required that allows Count of Room Night actually starts at the time PIA crew Checks-in. Payment Payment will be made on Actual Occupancy Mandatory Hotel Equipment i. Smoke Detectors ii. Sprinklers iii. Fire Resistant Upholstery iv. Temperature/Humidity Control (Individual Rooms) v. Blackout Devices on windows vi. Large Bedrooms vii. Allocation on higher floors with lowest noise level, situated away from in-house clubs etc. viii. Fridge ix. Coffee/Tea Maker Complimentary Services Required

2 i. Buffet Breakfast OR Any One Buffet Meal Per Room Night ii. Laundry/Dry Cleaning of One Set of Dress per Room Night. Definition of Set of Dress is as under: Male : Trouser, Shirt, Tie, Jacket (4 piece) Female :Dupatta, Kameez, Shalwar, Apron (4 piece) Other Facilities i. To ensure that Crew should have an exclusive facility to for expeditious Check-in/Check-out. ii. Crew Lounge with TV and Microwave to be provided for PIA crew iii. Executive Lounge facilities to Cockpit Crew iv. Crew to be upgraded when accompanied by family to a Suite with no Extra Charge. v. Complimentary mineral water (Two Large bottles a day) vi. 50% discount on all food and beverages at all outlets vii. 50% discount on all Laundry and Dry Cleaning (other than Complimentary Laundry of One Dress Per Room Night as mentioned above) viii. Free usage of Recreational facilities. ix. All Toll-Free numbers access free of charge x. Complimentary Telephone or Cell Number Calls if Crew need to talk with PIA Oslo Management. xi. All telephone calls at 50% of ordinary rate xii. To make available the services of a Home Doctor at all material time. The hotel shall invoice PIA for medical charges so incurred. xiii. Tea & Coffee service to be made available in the room with no Service Charges xiv. Free internet/wi-fi facility xv. Pakistani News TV Channels xvi. Up-gradation of Rooms for Pilots xvii. Free entrance to Health Club, Swimming Pool, Sauna and Steam Room (Fitness Room) Exit Clause Exit Clause must be incorporated in the proposed Agreement. Amendment To The Agreement In all instances, the terms of Agreement can only be varied with the written consent of both parties. Governing Laws The proposed Agreement shall be governed by the law of the Land

3 Bidding Procedure Tender will be opened on the basis of Single Stage Two Envelopes Bidding Procedure. Accordingly, interested hotels are requested to submit a Single Package containing two separate envelopes titled as Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. The Technical Proposal shall all details of Offers without Rates while Financial Proposal shall contain Rates only. Initially, only the envelope marked as Technical Proposal will be opened. Technical Evaluation and Site Inspection will be carried out by PIA Evaluation Team consisting of PIA Oslo Management, Representative of Crew Association (PALPA) and a Representative from PIA Head Office. After the evaluation and approval of the Technical Proposal by Evaluation Committee, the Financial Proposal will be opened publicly at a time and date that will be communicated to the technically qualified hotels well in time. The Financial Proposal of hotels found technically non-qualified will be returned Un-opened to the respective bidders.
