2 2012 Smile Together Partnership Calling for Applicants Through 'Smile Together Partnership(STP) 2012', the Work Together Foundation is looking for partner-organizations that will work to eradicate child poverty and improve the quality of life in developing countries by founding social enterprises and supporting their works. We are holding an Information Session to introduce the program and your attention will be profoundly appreciated. Ⅰ Outline of STP 1. Smile Together Partnership Since 2011, the Work Together Foundation has been promoting its Smile Together Partnership (STP), a project that creates social enterprises and offers managerial assistance in developing countries. Through the project, it has been working to alleviate poverty faced by children in various developing countries. In addition, STP attempts to create job opportunities that respect the local culture while maintaining its sustainability. Through social enterprises, STP strives to provide jobs for parents so that their children can receive better care at home. It also supports social enterprises that provide occupational and educational opportunities for youths who have to work, allowing them to take their first step into the society. With STP, the Work Together Foundation hopes to create job opportunities not only in South Korea, but also in various developing nations. We hope that our efforts can provide opportunities for impoverished children with stable care from their parents and appropriate education so that they can end their cycle of poverty and encourage themselves to grow as respected members of the society. 2. Objective ㅇ to eradicate child poverty through founding and supporting social enterprises in developing countries

Direction ㅇ cooperate with partner-organizations that have understanding and experience about the local situations in developing countries. ㅇ give support both financially and non-financially to the social enterprises with a clear business model 4. General Procedure ㅇ New Partnership 1 Advance publicity 2 Recruiting candidate partner-organizations in and outside the country 3 Feasibility Study: representative interview, information sessions 4 Selection of partner organizations 5 Concluding the agreement and implementing support 6 Monitoring and annual evaluation ㅇ In Succession - Continue the support according to the results of monitoring and evaluation about the 1st year work - Provide aid for 3 consecutive years at most 5. Selection Criteria 1) Is it a social enterprise that is based in the local community and creates jobs for local people? 2) Is it a social enterprise that fosters local youth leadership with the exit strategy of supporting NGOs? 3) Is it a social enterprise with a sustainable business model that does not endanger local culture, community and environment? 6. Support Detail ㅇ Financial Support: From $20,000 to $200,000 (USD) on each project (on average $30,000 for a fiscal year) ㅇ Business consultancy services for financial independence ㅇ Giving partner organizations an opportunity to reinforce their capability through media promotion and educational support ㅇ Giving partner organizations various resources regarding their business

Phnom Penh, - provided homes and wheelchairs for disabled Service Cambodia children and teenagers Cambodia - provided consultation on profitability analysis and inventory management (with the uget program of the Business School at Yonsei Univ.) - Establishment of the Café ZoomSun under the management of Phoudindaeng Youth Center to bring up more young leaders - supported juvenile education and improvement of 3. Vang Vieng, - AVAN living standard in villages that are suffering Lao P.D.R Korea poverty - provided consultation on business model investigation and a market analysis (with the uget program of the Business School at Yonsei Univ.) - Establishment of the Lotus Hope Beauty and Hair Center to support poor children, especially the young girls becoming self-reliant - supported living of impoverished teenagers and 4. Siem Reap, - Lotus provided hair & beauty training Cambodia World - sent volunteers from LEECHUL-HairKerKer and supplied related goods - Lotus Hope Hair & Beauty Center was broadcast on Morning Wide Show, SBS

Outline ㅇ Title : 2012 Smile Together Partnership ㅇ Project Duration : September, 2012 ~ August, 2013 (with possibility of 3 consecutive years) ㅇ Host Organization : Work Together Foundation ㅇ Candidates : domestic and international organizations committed to improving the lives of impoverished children by founding and supporting social enterprises in developing countries ㅇ Process : 10 organizations corresponding to the qualification criteria will be selected through document and interview screening ㅇ Support Detail : Funding (on average $30,000 (USD) on each project), Business Consulting, Promotion, Opportunity to participate in investment information sessions 2. Detail Plan Application ㅇ Application period : June. 18 ~ July. 31, 2012 ㅇ Possible Applicants: domestic and international organizations that can found and manage social enterprises to help impoverished children and create jobs for parents in developing countries ㅇ Documents: 1 Smile Together Partnership Proposal 2 1 letter of self-introduction (include level of financial independency & project details and working expenses of the past 3 years ) 3 1 resume and 1 proof of employment of the project manager 4 copy of corporate registration or copy of NGO registration or business license (*omittable if it hasn't been founded yet) ㅇ How to apply: *Only by ㅇ Send the application to: gyeongah@hamkke.org Contents of the Proposal 1 business background 2 business value 3 expected achievement

9 Investment Opportunity & Information Session provide information about investment opportunities through social networking website arrange presentation on performance at the end of the contract period Ⅲ Inquiry Information Session for 2012 STP Calling for Applicants l The Work Together Foundation is seeking partnering organizations that will alleviate poverty faced by children of various developing countries by participating in Smile Together Partnership that creates social enterprises and offers managerial assistance in developing countries. We expect many organizations committed to improving the lives of impoverished children by creating jobs for the parents through locally rooted social enterprises to apply to the STP.
