3 SBE Program - Outreach California Economic Summit: Buyers met one-on one with potential SBE awardees. Urban League: Met with James Castillo, develop a referral program for SBE firms for opportunities with LAUSD. School Opening Transition Unit: Attended vendor meeting for New School Opening procurements SBE Program.
4 Certification Program Reciprocity agreement with the State of California DGS has resulted in over 40 certifications of firms. Reciprocity agreement with MWD has produced over 30 certifications firms a month have been certified in order to win LAUSD bids and contracts. Year-to-date 130 firms have been certified as SBE firms.

7 SBE Program Highlights 3,509 SBE firms have been awarded contracts or PO s in FY Over 70% of SBE firms are in the LAUSD service area. P.O s awarded increased by 3.6% annual rate from 1st quarter FY-04 Payments from P.O s awarded increased by 11.52% annual rate from 1st quarter FY-04
8 SBE Program Highlights IT Bench Contracting: The attainment of SBE firms on the IT bench reached to 41%. P & R Paper Supply: Over $2,500,000 in contracts for the 1st two quarters of the FY. The PM Group: A food and paper goods supply company won over $650,000 in contracts for the 1st two quarters of the FY.
