Participation Certificate shall be given to all the participants. No T.A / D.A will be given by the Organizing College. Breakfast & Lunch to all will be provided by the College Entry Fee is Rs. 150/- per participants 1

3 General Rules 1. Any Graduate or Post Graduate institute can participate. 2. A student can participate in ONLY ONE Event. 3. Event Specific rules are mentioned in this booklet or will be announced at the commencement of event. 4. Winners will be declared by the judges and their decision will be final and binding for all the events. 5. All the participants will be given participation certificates. 6. Registration Fees will be Rs. 150 per participant which includes tea, lunch and participation fees. 7. Scanned copy of duly filled registration form along with college stamp & principal s signature should be send to ssagrawalspandan@gmail.com. 8. Registration Fees can be paid in Canara Bank Account No , IBFS No. CNRB , favouring S. S. Agrawal College of Arts, Commerce & Management or at registration desk on the day of the event. 9. 4 Vyapar Yojana (Business Plan Competition) Team size = 4 You have to send the soft copy of your business plan by before 25/01/2016. Round 1: Elimination round 1. The teams will have to pitch their idea in 3 minutes presentation in the screening round and the ideas which are original, innovative, practical, scalable and viable will be selected for final round. 2. Preferable language will be English. 3. Innovativeness of idea and strong oral representation will help to qualify them for second round/final round. Round 2: Final Round 1. Teams selected out of screening round will have to present their complete business plan in 15 minutes. This will be followed by queries from the jury. 2. 5 Stock Guru (An Investment Game) 1. This is an individual event. 2. There will be maximum three participants from an institute. 3. Time duration of the event will be 1 hour. 4. Short selling will not be allowed. 5. Future & Option (F&O) will be restricted. 6. Trading will be permitted only in equity. 7. Evaluation will be based on your profit & loss on your trade. 8. The participants will have to come prepared & present an advertisement for a product/service of their choice. 2. Time allowed to present your prepared ad will be Max. 3 minutes 3. The ad prepared by the contestant must not contain any obscene words/any subject that hurts the feelings of a culture/language/religion. 4. Negative marking for any disobedience of rules. 5. The decision of the judge is final and abiding. 4

6 Final Round 1. The selected top 3 teams will be competing in this round. 2. In this round certain products or name of services will be given and the teams have to prepare an advertisement for it minutes will be given to each team for preparation. 4. Event Coordinator: Ms. Jaimini Patel Net Hunt (A Cyber Hunt Game) 1. Individual participant is allowed. 2. Only 3 entries per college are allowed. 3. Decision of Judges shall be final and binding. 4. Images will be given at the time of event. 5

7 1st Round 1. 3 different images will be given to participants and 5 minutes allocated for each student in within which they have to find that exact image on the internet. 2. Participants have to save URL of that image that will be consider as answer. 3. Minimum time duration will be considered. 2nd Round 1. Only 1 image is given and 2 minutes allocated in that time duration they have to find that particular image. 2. Participants have to save URL of that image that will be consider as answer. Participants will be allotted 7 minutes to present their presentation & 3 Minutes will be allotted for question-answer session. 3. Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration. 4. PPT should be only in English language. Topics: 1. 8 Creator s Mind (Website Coding) 1. The team has to develop website out of the below mentioned theme. 2. Time Duration: 3 Hrs. 3. Team Size :3 4. Use of Pen Drive is prohibited. 5. The images can be used from clipart. 6. Each team should select any one Front end and back end tool for project development : 1. Front End : ASP.NET,PHP 2. Back End : Ms-Access, Oracle, SQL Server, My Sql. 7. Project title will be given on spot from the listed below: Project Titles: A] Online Students Management System. B] Online Examination System. 9 Mega Mind (Quiz Competition) 1) The quiz will be related to General Knowledge, Current Local & International affairs, IT, Management, History, Technology, Personalities, etc. 2) The college can send any number of teams. 3) Max 3 members are allowed in a single team. 4) Decision of Quiz-master will be final and binding. 5) There will be elimination round followed by rapid fire round and winners of the same will go to finals. 6) Program will be given at the time of event. 1st Round (MCQ) 1. Objectives questions Paper will be given to a team questions to be answered in 20 Minutes mark for correct answer and 0.25 marks would be deducted for wrong answer. 4. Those who are Qualified in 1st round will be eligible for 2nd round. To qualify one should score minimum 50 % marks in MCQ. 2nd Round (Rapid Fire/Buzzer round) 1. Random questions will be asked to each team for the time duration of 1 min. 2. Those who are Qualified in 2nd round can be eligible for final round. Final Round 1. This round comprises of 3 phases. 10 Kala Kruti (Poster Making Competition) 1. The participate shall draw her/his drawing in form of shading, Oil painting or Water painting in the time limit of 3 hours. 2. The subject for the Poster Making Competition shall be given on the spot at the respective place only. 3. The host institute will provide sheet for painting and painting materials. 4. The decision taken by the judge shall be considered final by the participants as well as the institution. 5. Any change in the Competition can be made by the organizing institution only. Event Coordinator: Mrs. Chintal Modh Clash of Codes (C++ Coding Competition) 1. Programming Languages for competition will be C or C++ 2. Editor : DosBox Turbo C++ 3. Teams are required to submit only a single solution to each problem. Once submitted they may not be changed. 4. All teams will be given the same set of problems to solve. 5. 11 SadUpyog (Best out waste Competition) 1. Any graduate or post graduate student of recognized college can participate. 2. The participant shall make her/his item in the time limit of 3 hours. 3. Best out of waste competition will require the participants to bring the materials /things needed from their homes. 4. Competition will be judge on the basis of material should be waste, creativity and accurate. 5. The decision taken by the judge shall be considered final by the participants as well as the institution. 6. Any change in the competition can be made by the organizing institution only. Event Coordinator: Ms. Dixita Prajapati Impromptu (Extempore) 1. Medium of expression may be English/Hindi/Gujarati 2. There will be two rounds i.e. Preliminary and Final 3. Selected student from the preliminary round shall go to final round 4. The topic for final round will be given on the spot after Preliminary minutes provide for preparation time will be given for Final round topic 6. Time limit for Preliminary round: 5 minutes 7. 12 Sargam (Singing Competition) Rules / Regulations 1. One entry from one college is allowed. 2. Solo Performance and maximum number of accompanists is two. 3. Film songs cannot be presented. 4. Participants must bring their own musical instruments. Only Harmonium and Tabla are allowed. Casio not allowed. 5. Time for stage/ instruments setting is maximum 2 minutes. 6. Duration of performance is 5 minutes. After 5 minutes participants will be declared disqualified. 7. Judgement is based on the qualities like swara, taal, selection of raga, composition and overall impression. 8. Judges decision will be final. Event Coordinator: Dr. Priyanka Desai Illusion (Face Paining Competition) Rules / Regulations 1. Team Event (2 members one who will draw and the other whose face will be use for the art) 2. Participants have to carry their own material like Face Paint or Cosmetics, Paint Brush, Cosmetic Brush, Sponge & Other Necessary tools. 3. Time Duration for the competition will be of One & half hour, all the participants have to cover either full face or half face(for Animal or Bird Face) or both eye area (for Mask Paint) within one & half hour. 4. 13 Pratikruti (Science Model Competition) Rules / Regulations 1. The participating college can put up only one project/model. 2. Team shall consist of not more than 4 members. 3. Model must be made by students at home & brought on the day of competition. 4. The model must be made on the concept given by the organization. 5. Students also have to make one A2 size poster explaining the above concept & bring it along with the models. 6. The model can be prepared working or static. 7. Results declared by the judges will be final. Event Coordinator: Ms. Ishita Desai Mr. Abhijit Desai Mehndika (Mehndi Competition) 1. Team Event (2 members one who will draw and the other whose hand will be use for art. 2. Participants have to carry their own materials. 3. Time Duration for the competition will be of 1 hour, all the participants have to cover full hand within an hour. 4. Participants are not allowed to use any design book or any kind of such materials. 5. Judge s decision will be final.
