2 WHO WE ARE Ascend is the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian organization for corporate board members, business professionals, executives, and students in North America. We offer robust professional development and career enhancement programs designed to cultivate Pan-Asian talent. Carande National Managing Partner, KPMG Carl Carande is the National Managing Partner of the Advisory practice at KPMG. Carl joined KPMG in 2000 and became a Partner in Carl has over 25 years of Commercial and Retail Banking experience with major U.S. global and regional banks in the areas of post-deal merger integration, strategic development, profit improvement, commercial product pricing and analysis, productivity modeling, process reengineering, and internal control best practices. Prior to joining KPMG, Carl was the Global Director of Corporate Cash Management Pricing and Analysis for Bank of America. In this role, he was responsible for managing a pricing and analysis function across a cash management product suite that generated revenues of $1.4BB. Carl holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a B.S. in Organizational Systems Management from California State University, Northridge.
