1 The Great Wall of China Competition 25/01/ /03/2019 Introduction 1. This promotional competition ( Competition ) is organized and run by Huawei Technologies South Africa (Pty) Ltd (hereafter referred to as Huawei ), including its affiliates, partners, associates and agents (hereafter referred to collectively as the Organizers ). 2. The Competition is open for entry to all South African residents above the age of 18 (eighteen) years old with a valid Passport, except employees of the Organizers and its advertising and/or promotion agencies, outlet owners, retailers and wholesalers that form part of the Competition and their immediate families ( Qualifying Person/s ). The Competition is not open for entry by or on behalf of a legal entity. 3. This Competition will run between 25 th January 2019 and 31 st March 2019 both days inclusive (the Competition Period ). 4. A qualifying person who completes a 21km/42km/56km race during the Competition Period will be awarded with a single entry into the Competition and can enter the competition via the Huawei website at consumer.huawei.com/za. Additional entries will be awarded for active Discovery Vitality members and for Qualifying Persons that make use of a Huawei wearable linked to the Discovery Vitality platform. 5. By entering the Competition, all participants and Qualifying Persons agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organizers and the Organizers decision regarding any issue(s) will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Competition Prizes 1. One (1) Qualifying Person will be chosen at random from the entries received to be the winner of the Competition (the Competition Winner ). The Competition Winner will be entitled to select a running companion of their choice to accompany them on the trip provided that this companion is over the age of eighteen (18), is a South African resident and has a valid passport. 2. The Competition Winner will receive: 2 Huawei wearable devices

2 Roundtrip flights for Two from Johannesburg, Cape town, Durban or Pretoria to Beijing, China Including transfers and airport taxes 6 Nights, 7 day stay in a 4 star Hotel in Beijing China (Double Room) Transfers from airport/hotel/airport included Travel Insurance VISA assistance and payment for VISA s All meals not expressly excluded in the package Stipend (To be used by the Competition Winner for meals not included and any ancillary expenses) (hereinafter referred to as the Competition Prize ). 3. The estimated value of this competition is R (one hundred and eighty thousand rand). 4. The Competition Winner will be announced on Huawei social media platforms on 8 April 2019 and a ceremony for Competition Prize giving will be held on a date agreed by all parties. 5. The Competition Prize is not exchangeable for cash, and will not be transferable or negotiable. 6. The Organizers reserve the right to substitute the competition prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the Competition Prize promoted not be available due to unforeseen circumstances. ITINERARY: 14 May 2019: Welcome to Beijing: o Arrival in Beijing. Transfer buses are available throughout the day and leave for the city with minute intervals. Look for "The Great Wall Marathon" sign in the arrivals hall and our representatives will show you to the bus. o After checking in to your hotel, check the hotel notice board to confirm your tour guide's name and phone number. Goodie bags will be handed out by the guide. If you don't receive your goodie bag on this day, it will be given to you on Inspection Day. o The rest of the day is free for you to explore Beijing. o Meals: not included in package stipend to cover this cost. 15 May 2019: Explore Beijing Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and more: o The first stop of our day's exploration is Tiananmen Square. We continue to the Forbidden City and spend the rest of the morning there. Lunch will be a delicious local specialty, Beijing roast duck.

3 o o o After lunch we continue sightseeing at the beautiful Temple of Heaven in southern Beijing. The last stop of the afternoon will be a visit to a silk exhibition hall, where a large variety of silk products can be purchased. An optional acrobatics show is available for purchase. Enjoy a fantastic evening out and watch a spectacular performance by talented acrobats. Learn more under "Excursions". Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner 16 May 2019: Great Wall Marathon Route Inspection: o Today, is Inspection Day! This is your time to inspect the route, including a leisurely walk along the Great Wall, and speak with race officials about the forthcoming event. o Our day will begin early in the morning as we board our bus and head to the Great Wall for route inspection. Breakfast will be served as a breakfast box, if your hotel is unable to serve a buffet breakfast before our early departure. o All runners are expected to walk the 3.5km of the Huangyaguan section of the wall that is part of the marathon, half-marathon and 8.5k Fun Run course. Non-runners are also welcome, although good physical condition is required. A sandwich lunch will be served. o We will arrive back in Beijing around 5pm. After a dinner consisting of typical Beijing dishes, the rest of the evening will be at your leisure. o Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner 17 May 2019: Cloisonne Factory and Ming Tombs: o We start the day with a visit to a cloisonné factory. Cloisonné is an age-old technique for decorating metal objects. At the factory, we will be introduced to the intricate art of making cloisonné. o After lunch, we'll head to the Ming tombs in a valley south of the Tianshou Mountain, about 50km west of Beijing. Thirteen out of the sixteen Ming emperors were buried in this peaceful valley. o Load up on your carbs at tonight's dinner with additional rice and noodle dishes. o Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner 18 May 2019: Race day: o Today is the big day! o Breakfast boxes will be handed out before we leave for Huangyaguan at 3:30am. The race starts at 7:30am. Sandwich lunches will be provided for everyone at the race site.

4 o Busses will be ready to take runners back to Beijing between 12 and 4:30pm. A 20- minute massage on site is included after the race. o For more information about the race, look o Meals: Breakfast and lunch 19 May 2019: Beijing excursion option and Evening Celebration Party: o Today is a day of recovery. Sleep in, relax, do a bit of shopping in the Silk Alley, or fill your senses with the sights and sounds of Beijing. o The optional City of People excursion is available today. This tour takes you to the Summer Palace just outside Beijing and pays a visit to the giant panda at Beijing Zoo. For further details, see "Excursions". o In the evening, we all gather for the big celebration dinner. All participants will be picked up at their hotels and taken to the party venue tonight. o Meals: Breakfast and dinner (lunch is provided for those going on the optional excursion) 20 May 2019: Farewell Beijing: o Depending on your departure time, you might be able to do some last-minute shopping or take in more of Beijing's sights. o Hotel check-out is before noon. Please note that the departure transfer is not included in the package but can be pre-booked at an extra cost. See prices for details. o Meals: not included in package stipend to cover this cost. Great Wall Marathon Competition Mechanics 1. To enter this Competition, you are required to: Attend and complete either a 21km/42km/56km Marathon within the below qualifying times : o 21 km 2h 24m 59sec o 42km 4h 49m 59sec o 56km 6h 45m 59sec Runners need to enter the competition via the website consumer.huawei.com/za All entrants details need to be uploaded in order to qualify for entry. Collection of personal information is to verify your registration and contact the winner. Details required: o Name, surname, o contact cellphone number, o address,

5 o vitality number (if applicable), o Huawei wearable device serial number (if applicable); and o screen shot of your official race result from the race organizers official website to show that 1) you completed the race 2) time was with the qualifying times stated above. Entries Awarded o If you successfully complete an official race according to the above requirements (qualifying time and distance) you will be awarded 1 entry to the Competition. o If you successfully complete an official race according to the above requirements (qualifying time and distance) and are a Discovery Vitality member you will be awarded an additional entry to the Competition. o If you successfully complete an official race according to the above requirements (qualifying time and distance) and own a Huawei wearable device you will be awarded another entry to the Competition. Competition Winner Selection and Notification o 4 Participants will be chosen via random draw on 5 April 2019 and ranked in accordance with the order in which they are selected. The participant chosen first will be verified and if successful will be contacted by the Organizers if not successful, the remaining chosen participants will then be verified in ranking order. o Within 3 (three) days from the date of the random draw and successful verification by the Organizers, the Competition Winner will be contacted by Huawei via or cellphone. The Competition Winner will then be requested to provide information to verify that he/she is a Qualifying Person. o Should the Organizers be unable to contact the Competition Winner within 5 Business Days or should the Competition Winner refuse to provide the information or should the Competition Winner not be a Qualifying Person, then Huawei will select another winner and restart the process. General Terms and Conditions (Huawei) a) This Competition s rules are on the Organizers Facebook page as well as on consumer.huawei.com/za. Personal Information about the Competition Winner will be stored at and shared with the Organizers of the Competition and their agents to the extent necessary for the Competition Prize to be delivered to the Competition Winner. The Organizers will communicate with the Competition Winner via as the preferred method of communication, and, telephonically or SMS as a secondary means, if required. The Organizers reserve the right to contact the Competition Winner at all reasonable times, as and when required. For details visit

By Accepting these terms and conditions, competition entrants agree to data privacy terms of the Organizers. c) The Organizers reserve the right to select alternative Winners in the event that they believe, in their sole discretion, that the Competition Winner has contravened any of these terms and conditions. The Organizers decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into. d) By accepting these terms and conditions, the Competition Winner agree/(s) that the Organizers may but will not be obliged to publish the Competition Winner name, surname and images, including photographs, on, amongst other things, on the Organizers Social Media Platforms without any liability accruing to the Organizers or remuneration due to the Competition Winner. e) The Competition, its prize, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Competition, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizers. Such altered terms and conditions and/or prize shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizers. No participants shall have any recourse against the Organizers as a result of the alterations of the terms and conditions and/or a prize. f) Unless otherwise stated in the prize package, all other costs are the responsibility of Competition Winner. g) The Organizers reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Competition for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a force majeure event or generally for any reason whatsoever within its sole discretion, on condition that it notifies the participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability. h) The Organizers reserve the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Competition immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organizers for any reason whatsoever. Notice of such termination shall be published on Facebook. In such an event, all participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Competition, and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organizers whatsoever. i) Entrants may be able to opt out and correct their data, by sending request directly to Huawei to make the requested change. However, not providing Huawei with certain data may mean that we cannot complete your entry into the competition. Users who complete an online entry and need any data saved, corrected or amended are requested to please contact the Huawei hotline on (Monday-Friday 7:00-22:00, Holiday and Weekend 8:00-17:00). j) Data is stored at organizers data HQ in Singapore. k) All participants, Qualified Persons and the Competition Winner indemnify the Organizers, its associated and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from

7 any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way whatsoever in this Competition, save for any direct loss arising as a result of the organizers gross negligence. l) South African laws shall govern these Competition rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction. m) All participants confirm that he/she understands the contents, effect and consequences of all the clauses, terms and conditions, has no objections thereto and by entering the competition agrees to be bound by same as
