Our annual Christmas Craft Market serves as one of our largest fundraising events of the year. Funds raised from our market are used to support our festivals and events, and help subsidize CAMP MAC Children and Youth programs, and a variety of programs at the facility. The 38 th Annual Christmas Craft Market is a juried market with over 115 local and regional unique hand crafted artisans. Annual attendance is approximately 6000 visitors st Ave. Mission, BC V2V 1H ~ macart@shaw.ca ~ missionartscouncil.ca
2 ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA All products must be at least 75% handmade, hand crafted art and craft by the artisan. Your product will be juried for quality, originality, craftsmanship and durability. Deadline for submissions is JUNE 1 st, 2019 Upon acceptance a donation of product valued at a minimum $20 must be provided at the time of jurying. These items go towards our raffle gift baskets. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Dress appropriate for the season All tables must be covered and skirted to the floor No personal heaters allowed, dress in layers to avoid getting cold No pets by order of the Mission School District 75, unless authorized. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL VENDORS BE ALLOWED TO MOVE THEIR BOOTH SPACE, which is assigned prior to arrival, unless instructed by the coordinator. 10 x 10 tent canopies are not permitted. The use of a 10 x 10 tent frame with no canopy must be approved by the Christmas Craft Market Committee. Be sure to have your permit from your local Health Department on hand, should you be selling food items Vendor security tags (2 lanyards) will be provided upon arrival for set up. They must be worn at all times during set up and for the duration of the market. Lanyards will be picked up before take-down. BOOTH DESCRIPTION LOCATION SIZE PRICE Cafeteria, Hallways and Rotunda Front 8 x 6 deep $135 (If power if needed, or used include an extra, $10 cheque) Gym - outside wall 10 x 10 space $160 includes power Gym outside wall with corner 10 x 10 space No tents or canopies $175 includes power Gym internal booth 10 x 8 $150 no power When booking same spot from previous year (grandfathered in) make cheque for appropriate price, dated September 1, Not knowing your assigned spot, but requesting an area, make cheque for $135 only. If needed, a request for additional funds will be required at a later date. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations must be received prior to September 1, 2019 Cancellations after September 1, 2019 will not receive a refund.
