2 Prolog Our excellent researchers make the Technical University of Munich (TUM) very successful in securing ERC grants. Based on our experience and knowledge collected through recent ERC grant applications rounds, the following support should enable a smooth and efficient preparation of a successful proposal submission. If you apply for TUM Seed Fund for an ERC Starting Grant, please send us the Support Form, completed and signed, at the latest 18 months prior to the ERC deadline. If you apply for a reduction of your teaching load for an ERC Starting, Consolidator, Advanced or Synergy Grant, please send us the Support Form, completed and signed, at the latest 6 months prior to the ERC deadline. If you apply for a planning and travel funds for an ERC Synergy Grant, please send us the Support Form, completed and signed, at the latest 6 months prior to the ERC deadline. 2 / 1
