Backgrund Pfizer Glbal Medical Grants (GMG) supprts the glbal healthcare cmmunity s independent initiatives (e.g., research, quality imprvement, r educatin) t imprve patient utcmes in areas f unmet medical need that are aligned with Pfizer s medical and/r scientific strategies. Pfizer s GMG cmpetitive grant prgram invlves a publicly psted general Request fr Prpsal (RFP) that prvides detail regarding a general area f interest, sets timelines fr review and apprval, and uses an internal Pfizer review prcess t make final grant decisins. Organizatins are invited t submit an applicatin addressing the knwledge gaps as utlined in the specific RFP. Fr all independent medical educatin grants, the grant requester (and ultimately the grantee) is respnsible fr the design, implementatin, and cnduct f the independent initiative supprted by the grant. Pfizer must nt be invlved in any aspect f prject develpment, nr the cnduct f the independent educatin prgram. 1

Eligibility Gegraphic Scpe: United States Applicant Eligibility Criteria The fllwing may apply: medical, nursing, allied health, and/r pharmacy prfessinal schls; healthcare institutins (bth large and small); prfessinal assciatins and medical scieties; medical educatin cmpanies; and ther entities with a missin related t healthcare prfessinal educatin and/r healthcare imprvement. If the prject invlves multiple departments within an institutin and/r between different institutins / rganizatins / assciatins. All institutins must have a relevant rle and the requesting rganizatin must have a key rle in the prject. Fr prjects ffering cntinuing educatin credit, the requesting rganizatin must be accredited. III. Requirements Date RFP Issued February 12, 2019 Clinical Area General Area f Interest fr this RFP: Atpic Dermatitis (AD) Thrugh this RFP it is ur intent t supprt educatinal prjects that fcus n addressing knwledge and practice gaps specific t the recgnitin, diagnsis, treatment, and verall care management f AD. The prgramming shuld prvide a hlistic view n AD, including diagnsis, treatment ptins, efficacy and safety issues, management f applicatin site pain (ASP) fr tpical agents, treatment pathways recmmendatins, as well as the psychscial impact f AD and ther quality f life issues. 3 Target Audience: Fr pediatricians and primary care practitiners, as well as nurse practitiners and physician assistants wh are invlved in the care and treatment f patients with AD. Expected Apprximate Mnetary Range f Grant Applicatins: Individual prjects requesting up t $300,000 will be cnsidered. The ttal budget available is up t $1M.
