Sourcing, collating and disseminating local and regional Labour Market Information to assist providers in business planning. 3 Elevated profile of providers and provider network - Elevated profile of provider organisations, ensuring that Apprenticeships, Study Programmes, Traineeships and Skills for Employment are considered and recognised in every aspect of strategic and operational planning by relevant groups and organisations. 4 Impartial representation of providers - Providing impartial representation of providers, to challenge existing and proposed systems and policies, where necessary, without it having a negative impact on provider relationships. 5 Development of effective relationships with key stakeholder agencies and community organisations - Effective relationships with key stakeholder agencies and community organisations including Youth Connexions, Local Authorities, NAS, EFA, SFA, JCP, LEPs, AELP and Education & Training Foundation. 6 Co-ordination of secondary school & community promotion activity - Promotion of Apprenticeships, Study Programmes, Traineeships and Skills for Employment to young people, teachers, careers advisors and parents through co-ordination of secondary school promotion activity. 7 Co-ordinated Employer Engagement - Promotion of Apprenticeships and Workplace Learning to employers and employer representative bodies such as Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and LEPs, creating opportunities for increased take-up and identifying / reporting on trends and gaps in provision for business planning purposes. It is proposed that the network manager will oversee a portfolio of activities and targets as agreed by the B&HPN members and based on those core tasks and activities that providers feel bring the greatest benefits to their organisation.
