2 Prior to starting your application please read the Environment Grant Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions and contact Margaret Ficken on (08) or You may add attachments if there is not enough space available (please limit these to whatever is necessary to answer the questions only and mark clearly which section and question they relate to). Informal grant information night is being held at the arlunga Civic Centre on Tuesday 30 January 2018, between 4-6pm where you are invited to drop in and discuss your proposed project and application with staff. The grants round closes 5pm, Monday 19 March Late applications will not be accepted. 5 FUNDING DETAILS 36 What is the total cost of the project? $ 37 What is the grant amount you are requesting from Council?* $ *Applicants must contribute a minimum of 50% towards the total cost of the project, this may comprise of cash and in-kind contributions. 38 Could your project proceed if only partial funding was received? (NOTE: Very few projects are funded the full requested amount due to the significant number of applications received). INCOME AND EXPENDITURE STATEMENT An Income and Expenditure Statement (detailed and realistic project budget) must be included in your application. The income column must detail all income for your event including all contributions from your organisation. These must include all cash contributions and all in-kind contributions such as donated materials and volunteer labour hours. Volunteer labour will need to be detailed to show hours spent on various roles, and then calculated against the relevant rate. The expenditure column must detail all expenditure necessary for the staging of your event including equipment and venue hire where appropriate; any labour and contractor fees including the value of volunteer labour hours (these can be included as they would be an expense had they not been donated); the costs of marketing and promoting the event; any catering costs, and any other anticipated costs as required. 6 BUDGET DETAILS Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are matching at least 50% of the amount of the grant applied for (refer to item 6 in the Environment Grants Guidelines).
