8 Mustang Families, It s that time of year again and program ad sales are underway! This is a great opportunity to support your player, the team AND the Touchdown Club. Where can you find ad sponsors? Do you eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Visited the doctor, dentist, orthodontist or any other specialist recently? Have you purchased a car or been to a dealership? Purchased or rented a home or know someone who is a realtor? Know someone who owns a business? Do you own your own business? Been to the gym? Where do you shop for groceries, clothes or specialty items? Where do you go for your banking needs? Even your own employer might be a good place to start. Just drop off an ad form, with your players name on it, at places you visit. It s really that simple. If you need help or a business has a question please , call me or give them my contact information. I am here to help. What s really exciting about this is that 50% of ad revenue sold will fund your player contribution. Back by popular demand, we are offering again this year the option for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends - anyone! It s called Player Dedications. It s an opportunity for you to have a special message printed in the program for your player. It must be 25 words or less, cost is $50.00 per dedication, and is open to all levels. 10 Saddleback Valley Unified School District DRAFT Athletic Sports Parent Donation Letter Dear Parent, The Saddleback Valley Unified School District is very proud of the extensive co-curricular programs offered at the comprehensive high schools. Through limited state funding, the District provides financial support for these programs, which may include stipends for one or more coach/advisor for each program, superb facilities, transportation, officials, ClF membership fees and general maintenance of the facilities. However, costs for athletics continue to exceed the limited state allocations, thus necessitating booster club/parent organization support and the request for suggested contributions from participants. Participation in the Trabuco Hills High School Football sports program (and THHS Touchdown Club) is strictly voluntary, and no student will be denied the opportunity to participate in a SVUSD co-curricular activity because of a parent or guardian's failure to participate in fund raising activities, failure to devote time or resources to the booster club, or failure to purchase uniforms, or other accessories or equipment. Parents or students who do not participate in the organization will not be publicly identified. In an effort to provide a comprehensive program for students at all levels, the Trabuco Hills High School Football sports program is suggesting a voluntary contribution in the amount of $ 5,00.00 dollars to fulfill our operating budget, which works out to approximately $ per student, which includes coaches stipends, passing league tournaments and lineman competitions, football equipment, banquets, and on field supplies. If additional funds to augment the program are not raised in the amount noted above, the school may find it necessary to scale back the program. We are encouraging all parents to contribute to the program, and are most hopeful that the needed funds will be raised. Remember, your contributions may be tax deductible. Please consult with your accountant or tax advisor for specifics. Note: THHS Touchdown Club (Tax ID# ) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3). Additionally, parents and students may be asked to participate in fundraising activities throughout the year in an effort to provide even greater financial support for the program.
