1 Scholarship Program for Gaming Excellence For USA Canada The world of mobile gaming, changes in technology are inevitable. The game developers need to stay updated with the new trends in this field to build innovative games which amuse the users. It doesn t matter how skilled and talented you are, without professional training in mobile game development, you cannot develop games which can help you meet your career goals. We understand that many of the students have financial constraints, due to which they are not able to acquire the training and land up in the job of their choice. Thus, we have come up with the scholarship program for gaming excellence for students in USA and Canada, helping them to save money on their tuition fees on their training ultimately enhancing their career in future. Process of Application: You need to send the following information to the id hermitc@sprakdesign.com, to enter the Gaming scholarship competition. First and Last Name Address Contact information Current resume Your story The reason why you think you should win What is your dream career? Provide two letters of reference. The letters should include details about the applicant s character, career and/or volunteer accomplishments, work ethics,

2 values and need for the scholarship. The letters should be written by either work colleagues or coaches, professors etc. of students, but cannot be written by family members. The letters can be submitted separately or with your application. Creative Portfolio In addition to the common application, the Sprak Design requires a creative portfolio. All portfolios are submitted digitally to the id hermitc@sprakdesign.com. The two components of the creative portfolio are: Short Answer Questions. Respond to all of the following questions in around 250 words answers to each. Why do you want to come to the Gaming Industries? What excites you most about game design? We want you to write about a game that is NOT a computer or video game (a board game, a sport, etc) that you like to play. What do you like about it? What about the game makes it enjoyable to play? Video game designers usually work in teams. What is it about you that makes you a good team member? Tell us about a game you know well. What is something that an average player might not know or understand about it? What are your hopes for the future of games? Creative Project. A creative project could be: a game you ve made (digital or nondigital), a computer program you ve written, a film you created, a piece of music, a creative writing sample, a portfolio of artwork, visual design, sculptures, photography or other creative pieces. We are looking for your talent and creativity in whichever medium you choose, so choose an example that you think best shows off your strengths and ideas. Below are some guidelines to submitting your work:

3 Creative Project You need to submit your creative project, which can in any of the below forms Game (digital/non-digital A computer program A Film A blog Artwork portfolio Photography portfolio Sculptures Creative pieces Visual design project It doesn t matter in which form you would like to send your creative work, we are looking for the best talent. So, just send the creative project in which you are passionate about and have completed with extreme proficiency and expertise. Below are some guidelines which you need to take into consideration while submitting your creative project In case, you are submitting a digital or software application, you need to include detailed instructions on how install, and its platform requirements. Just upload that software or game and send us the link through id given. In case of a board game, you need to submit the photographs, a short video, script describing on how to play, and its rules, etc. In case of a visual artwork, you need to submit detailed visual documentation of the project in either in the form of images or 5 minutes video. In case you are submitting the video, just the link of the video In case you want to submit a blog or article written by you, convert it into pdf format and the file In case you want to submit any of your online projects or websites, just the link.

4 Just follow these guidelines while ing your creative project to us as our goal is your success. Eligibility Criteria for the Program: Students enrolled (or enrolling) as full time student of accredited college/university within the U.S./ Canada, for completion of undergraduate degree. High school students entering college, current college students, or graduates. No school/ college dropouts are eligible The student must have achieved at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be legal residents or citizen of the United States/ Canada. This scholarship will be awarded to students with majors in Computer Engineering, Computer Science (B. Tech, M. Tech. B. Sc., M. Sc, or M.S.) or IT Should have attained 18 years of age at the start of the program. Terms and Condition: Only citizens of either USA or Canada are eligible to apply. Applicants should agree to allow Sprak Design to verify specific information (name, student ID number, institution, course of study). Scholarship recipients will be identified by a panel of experts from Sprak Design Scholarship is in the form of a one-time award of $1000.

5 Recipients agree to have their photo and award details published on the website of Sprak Design. Sprak Design reserves the right to change the rules and regulations for the scholarship program at any time with the exception of the dollar amount of the award and prior to the actual awarding to a recipient. Submission deadline is 15 May Late submissions cannot be accepted. Results will be declared on 31st May 2019 to individuals who have won the scholarship.
