2 Be part of our mission! Mission Christmas is back to make this Christmas Day different for local children living in poverty. It s a heart-breaking thought, but there are thousands of children living right here in our community who are in danger of waking up to no presents on Christmas Day. For some families Christmas is a luxury they just can t afford. If you re able to, please buy an extra present this year and donate it to Mission Christmas. Reliant the Robin will make sure it gets to the Big Man in time for Christmas Eve. We re looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0 to 18, and you can take them to drop off points across the region. Go online to find your nearest location. 3 THE DIFFERENCE YOU COULD MAKE 10 could buy a gift for a child living in poverty, especially one in an age group where we struggle with donations such as babies and teenagers 50 could pay for a selection of gifts for a young person who would otherwise wake up to nothing on Christmas Day 500 could go towards important sensory equipment and toys to aid a disabled child s development 1000 could support a family in a crisis situation over Christmas HELP BRING CHRISTMAS TO LOCAL CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY. Cash donations will be used to purchase gifts for age groups where we do not receive enough donations, specialist items for disabled children and to aid families in crisis situations over Christmas and in the New Year. Any remaining funds will go towards our future grant rounds to support disabled and disadvantaged local children.
