Benefits for the Town are arising from a good geopolitical position, good transport links, safe road infrastructure and rich cultural heritage. Ludbreg is one of the oldest settlements in Croatia with a rich historical heritage, a 600 years old shrine, and according to the local legend "Centrum Mundi" ie, Center of the world. Ludbreg is the economic center of the northwestern part of Croatia. Its development was based on the investments in SMEs and the manufacturing sector. In order to launch significant growth trends, it is necessary to mobilize existing and potential resources with new activities that are focused on creative economy and sustainable development. The biggest part of the entrepreneurs is registered in trade (33% of the total number ). The indicator of business success in Ludbreg is also an increase in exports by 11% in compared to year The main strategic objectives to be achieved in Ludbreg are developed SMEs, improved quality of life and sustainable development. So, in order to attract investors, Ludbreg has carried out a number of activities, such as enabling lower cost of land acquisition, exemption of payment for municipal contributions or company taxes. This is a strategic project that is beeing developed in collaboration with the Business Incubator from Koprivnica and relevant authorities on the national level.
