3 Hands-on Training- part 3: The next slides will consist of screen shots of the login screen, the Ekualiti Portal Index and the screens within the following tab in Ekualiti KC: S2S (System To System) Along with each screen shot, there will also be accompanying descriptions of the function that is occurring on the screen. 3

4 INITIAL LOG-IN The user logs into Ekualiti KC (Username and Password is the same) The url to access Ekualiti KC is : kc.njit.ekualiti.com 4

5 EKUALITI PORTAL INDEX The user accesses the Ekualiti Portal Index to locate the pending proposal documents and notifications. The user can also search for the proposal document by clicking the search icon. 5

6 PROPOSAL TAB The user can access existing documents on their action list by clicking the ID #. 6

7 The user will create a new proposal. Note: Please refer the Pilot Training manual part 1 for the steps to populate the Proposal tab screens and Key Personnel tab screens. We will also create a budget to be attached to the proposal as well. Note: Please refer to the Pilot Training manual part 2 for the steps to create a budget. 7

8 The user can search and select the sponsor. 8

9 If the proposal is able to be submitted to grants.gov, the S2S (System To System) tab will become enabled. Otherwise, this will be grayed out. 9

10 S2S TAB There will be 4 subpanels on the S2S tab: opportunity, submission details, forms and user attached forms. The user will click the S2S Lookup icon to search for the ID. 10

11 The user enters the ID in the Opportunity ID field, clicks Search and the listing will be displayed. The user will click return value. The Opportunity subpanel will be populated (see next page). 11

13 The user will click on the Opportunity search link to locate the opportunity ID. 13

14 The user can then search for the opportunity they are interested in. 14

15 The user can view the grants.gov instruction page, which will prompt a download of a PDF file (see next page). 15

17 The user can then enter the submission type. 17

18 If the Submission type selected is Revision, the user will also select the S2S Revision Type from the dropdown menu. 18

19 The Forms subpanel is where the user can view all the forms associated with the Opportunity. The user is able to select which forms to download and print (PDF on next page). 19

21 In the event that a form is not automatically populated, the user can go to the User Attached Forms subpanel, enter in a description, search for the form and click add. 21

22 The user attached form will be listed as a line item, giving the user the option to print the form (see PDF on next page). 22

24 After the S2S opportunity and forms are attached, the user will submit to grants.gov. Note: Please refer to Pre Award Pilot Training manual Part 1 (slides ) for steps on submitting proposals to grants.gov. 24

25 After the user submits to grants.gov, Ekualiti will display that an institutional proposal has been generated. Also, the submission details will be displayed. The user will click Refresh button. 25

26 Ekualiti will display the validated submission details: status, the S2S tracking ID, Comments and time stamp of submission. 26

27 If/When a Grants.gov sponsor is unable to process a proposal, the aggregator will receive an stating the reason for the incomplete submission. 27

28 The aggregator will need to copy the proposal document, make the corrections and then re start the workflow process. Note: Please refer to Pre Award Pilot Training manual Part 1 (slides ) for steps on how to copy a proposal document. 28
