4 Submissions currently running at nearly 400 per month. About 4x the size of a Nature research title. Weekly updates, moving to daily. Most papers published in biology (53%), followed by physics (31%), chemistry (10%) and earth sciences (6%) About 50% of authors choose OA. More biology is OA (55%) than other subjects (chemistry 34%, physics 43%) Submissions: USA 1 st, Japan 2 nd, China 3 rd UK 4 th, Korea 6th, Australia 9th, Singapore 13th, Taiwan 18 th. About 40% of submissions are transfers from other NPG titles. Published Authors: USA 1 st, UK 2 nd, Japan 3 rd, China 6th, Australia 7th, Singapore 14th, Korea 15th, Taiwan 21 st Some papers highly cited. Frequent coverage for Nature Communications articles in a diverse form of media BBC news, New Scientist, The Guardian, Science Now, Wired, The Metro, The Telegraph, USA Today etc.
