6 The MGAC 2017 JOURNEY Roadshows Maybank s MGAC representatives will conduct roadshows at university campuses locally and overseas. Roadshows and other activations engage students and postgraduates with a unique, creative and fun approach. At these activations, candidates can learn more about MGAC, GMAP, and get to know past participants. our desired text here. Campus Level National Level The nation-wide stage aims to select challengers for Global Finals. The level of complexity will be significantly higher as challengers will be tested against the best of the best in the country. Challengers from different universities will compete against one another to prove themselves. Global Finals Candidates will get first hand experience of MGAC 2017 at Campus Levels. The Campus Level will demand mental, physical and emotional tenacity from challengers competing against one another. Global Finalists from 14 countries will compete in a week-long intensive challenge that is aimed to bring out the best in them. They will compete against one another to be crowned as the Champion Team and the Ultimate GO Ahead. Challenger. 6

15 Participant FAQs Who can join MGAC? MGAC is open to any penultimate or final year student, regardless of their field of study. Fresh graduates with less than two years of working experience are also welcome to join. What type of challenges are expected this year? Based on previous MGACs, challenges vary to test everything from cognitive skills, leadership, teamwork, communication, integrity and personal growth. Are non-business/non-finance majors allowed to join? We highly encourage non-business/non-finance majors to join. MGAC is specially designed to level the playing field for all participants. 4 Will finalists be offered jobs at Maybank? Finalists will have a greater chance to join the bank through the award winning Global Maybank Apprentice Programme. 5 What is the Application Process? Submit applications in person at our roadshow or online via the website at Selected applicants will be tested via 2 short assessments. Application period: 15 nd February 30 th April 6 Where can candidates apply? Students are highly encouraged to visit us during our roadshow and meet our representatives face-to-face. Post Graduates can apply so long as they meet the requirement of having less than 2 years working experience. 8 Where will Campus Level, National Level and Grand Finals be held? Campus level is finalised after online assessments. National level is usually held within Maybank premises (both locally and overseas). Global Finals will be held in Kuala Lumpur, with specific venue to be confirmed at a later date. 9 Does the Global Maybank Apprentice Programme have a bond? Global Maybank Apprentices are not bonded. 10 Are there specific streams for GMAP? GMAP s rotation plan offer a wide range of options throughout Maybank's departments, including Community Financial Services, Global Banking, Insurance & Takaful, Islamic Banking, Group Finance Office, Group Credit & Risk Office, Enterprise Transformation Services and Group Human Capital.
